George's Bakehouse Huntly reviews
50Pepper pie was redicuously peppery and salty too. Not the first time I have eaten here, but possibly the last as I couldn't eat even half of my pie. Yes it was THAT bad!
Visited on Saturday very busy bakery. We ordered a sausage roll, Pepper pie, Latte and hot chocolate. My daughter said the sausage roll was nice, my pie was not warm at all. The coffee unfortunately tasted bitter, like the milk possibly had been over heated. We asked for no marshmallows in the hot chocolate and we got 2 in it. I will give this place another try next time we are coming through,
We went there on the 14/9/19 and they have the best food around. I had a pizza pie and it was the best pizza pie ive ever had. I will be returning there for sure. And i highly recomend uther people to go there and give them a shot.
Good selection with friendly staff.can get a bit busy if the footy is on in Huntly.but seems to be enough staff to get through the rush
Huntly's best and also Bendigos best pie and sweet shop by a country mile not only are the family and small pies great tasting they represent great value for money and the coffee is pretty special also
So many favourites! Roast pork pie, bee stings, single serve cheesecakes that really need two people to eat, and amazing donuts. Always love there block loaves, Boston buns, and scrolls and focaccias. So much to love!
This place draws a crowd and I'm not surprised! So many baked goods on offer and their coffee is made exactly as you ask for it.
The bakery is a great friendly family place to grab a bite, the staff are always happy and professional and we enjoy visiting regularly, the food always looks, smells and taste great and the only thing I can say as a negative is, there is sometimes an inconsistency with the custard tarts, sometimes they are gooey and to die delicious for and sometimes they are firm and dense.and everyone's pallet is different and some people may like them firm, but for me if i can poke it and my finger bounces off clean its to dense for me, but that is just the smallest negative for me.
It's a great little bakery but it is often quite busy so seating can be a little scarce. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the coffee is often cold.
