Kozzy is, without doubt, one of the BEST doctor you could ever see if you have an addiction problem. Whether you're addicted to alcohol or drugs, he can help you. He's also very kind and down to earth. I think he's wonderful.

Came here a few years ago but just remembered how awful the experience was. Judging from the reviews on here, Dr Kozminsky is great with addiction treatment. I truly believes he helps those patients. If you are a young female looking for anything to do with women's health, I would not recommend. He had a student doctor in the room and made me take off my entire top and pull down my pants the whole way just to take a look at what felt like a big bloat / firm growth in my lower abdomen. Just for reference, since then I have seen many medical professionals for regular check ups of the issue and they have never made me take off any clothes. He proceeded to tell me that I was almost certainly 3-4 months pregnant. I was 19 at the time and completely terrified. He judged me for not taking contraception and made me feel so guilty for the entire ordeal. I was horrified despite testing negative at his office with a pregnancy test (same appt). He kept insisting it was a false negative. I mentioned that my sister has ovarian cysts and he said there's no way it would be an ovarian cyst. He referred me for an ultrasound. He was hellbent on the pregnancy diagnosis but said the ultrasound was to make sure. Lo and behold it was a giant dermoid cyst 12cmx11cm. I never went back to him and now have a wonderful relationship with my current GP. 3 years later, I am now an allied health professional and still think about how awful that experience was.

Despite the waits (yes, they are long), Dr Kozminsky is a very good doctor and quite empathetic. Genesis is only one of a few clinics in Aust that offer the treatment I wanted, and while I did wait quite a while (why the staff don't schedule more carefully is a bit of a puzzle) I was able to work with the doctor to solve my particular issue. Genesis and Dr Kozz are worth it.

In planning my treatment with Genisis I found the staff professional, and always courteous via phone calls.
Many thanks to Dr Kozminsky for pretty much saving my life from addiction, which is his job. All the same thankyou for my experience.

I would say this place has the nicest receptionist and doctor I have ever met. Absolutely amazing experience! The lovely receptionist even saw my address was close by and told me to go home while I wait and she would call me when the doctor was ready! Thank you very much, sincerely twin 1 & twin 2

I’ve been going to see Dr Kozminsky for 17 years for a range of issues, He’s a very compassionate man who genuinely cares for his patients.

Kozzie is awesome. So few doctors in this city have the patience and care to specialise in his field. He deals especially with a notoriously difficult clientele who most GPs, T sadly, choose to avoid. The city desperately needs to be more like him. Do not bother hitting him up for benzos (as evidenced by the occasional patient who storms out of his office yelling profanities). Afternoon appointments are ALWAYS late. Best book for early morning.

RUDE STAFF with class no care and i would higher suggest you go to any other clinic in Melbourne.too lazy to even call people to tell them their fixed appointment is 1 hour late.no car parking at all - in fact STAFF parking is more important than patience Clients - lets see if that is the case if they had no Clients!

I travel 2 hours to see Dr K because him and his team are simply the best. Ignore all the comments about long wait times. You can tell how good a dr is by how much demand he is in. Highly recommended. Fabulous nurse and reception staff too. He deserves Doctor of the Year award.

I travel all the way from reservoir to see karen and kozzy, Its worth the wait, there isnt many doctors out there like kozzy who are willing to listen and take the time to explain your condition to you.

Dr. Kosminsky has been my doctor for over 6 years and he has always treated me with the utmost respect. I would recommend Dr. Kosminsky for any medical issues and his great professionalism.

Could do with some training about customer service and needs lessons in time management. Waiting an hour and a half for an appointment is extremely bad manners and unnecessary.

Even when you have made an appointment you have to wait forever litterally over an hour how can a professional doctor be that far behind? !

Do not go here! No empathy, long waits, rude Male Dr, prescribed incorrect medication and provided the wrong advice which further hindered my recovery! Do not waste your time an money!

Michael kozi is really thorough caring polite genuine and loveley a specialized service for people battling drug addictions plus way more generalized help he and staff s great people thanku

Great Doctor. BUT very disappointing that things haven't improved over the years but have just become worse.

Suck a caring, non judgmental, funny, intelligent, very hard working, great listener & best advice. BUT! IT'S WORTH THE 3 HOUR WAIT IN A ROOM OF DRUG ADDICTS. KOZZY CARES.
