6 I placed a call at 1: 05pm Monday (06/09) to customer service, and all operators were busy. I then sent an enquiry via the website and had no response, so I sent an email with the same question, which took a further 5 days to be returned. By the time I was instructed to post by items the 30 days had lapsed. I requested for a supervising manager to contact me but had no response at all. I even followed up multiple times.
Don't waste your time in trying to support a business like this. Such a bad experience dealing with General Pants.
Was helped by a grouse chick at GP, asked me about 5 questions on the jeans I wanted then gave me about 4-5 pairs that suited my description Have been putting off going to buy jeans for about 2 year and the first pair I tried on was exactly what I wanted. Big cheers.
Don’t waste your money online shopping here during lockdown. I was directed to purchase a returns label (no free returns per company policy- should’ve read that fine print before shopping too!). Card was charged for the return post and no label given. The company advised that I must contact Aus Post if I want this money back as they simply refer to the portal then wash their hands of customer service during returns. In the same customer service conversation I was told that they can offer a free return label during lockdown (then why are you still directing customers to purchase return labels, let’s not get into questioning what kickbacks GP gets from Aus Post for this service). And given a link to a broken webpage to obtain this plus a reminder that under no circumstances is there any flexibility in the return time frame. It also took contacting the company twice to get to this point in the matter.
Great service, especially postage. Got the black and white checkered dickies backpack. Love the fashion and style in the stores.:)

I came in to the General Pants South Yarra store yesterday on Thursday day the 21st of Feb 18 and I had an exceptional experience all thanks to Alice (i think that’s her name) a funky blond girl from NZ, she said hello introduced herself and asked if she could help me find something the second I walked in which was amazing cause i was looking for something specific.
I also planned on buying a fair few items which is usually draining and time consuming, I ended up trying on next to everything in the store, she helped me the entire way, I didn’t have to leave the change room once, let alone the store!
I asked heaps of questions and she managed to answer them all, she was super friendly, funny and polite. My experience all in all was like I entered the store and gained a best friend to help me find a new wardrobe and get me exactly what I need it was f**king awesome and we had good banter as well, she couldn’t have done a better job so I thought i’ll Give her a review which to be fair I never have before so Thanks Alice, your a rockstar
