New location - same awesome service. Dropped by to pick up some Citadel paints (after being absent from the hobby for some years) and couldn't locate the elusive "Boltgun Metal", staff immediately helped me find the alternative "Leadbelcher" and how to wash it with "Nuln oil" to get the same effect. Appreciate the guidance - prices are on par with a great selection of hobby materials, boardgames and miniatures. Will be back as my local from now on!

The staff at general games are always really helpful. Unlike a lot of other boardgame shops in Melbourne the store is always in a neat and tidy condition and is a joy to visit.

The people working in the shop are strait up gangsters, i am new to the bored game world and every time i have gone in they have been more than happy to help, and they are very passionate.

Store was well lit, tidy, and organized. Staff were attentive and helpful without being "salesman-y".

They have a good range of products, covering a wide variety of games. Not just war games or cards. They carry board games, rule books for some RPGs and more. Friendly, helpful staff and plenty of in store gaming space.

General games is excellent. There is simply no other way to put it. Whether you’re into Magic the gathering, Star Wars destiny, Warhammer 40k, Armada, or virtually any other tabletop, TCG or board game, this place is for you. They host regular events, the staff are friendly, and the prices on their wide range of singles, be it MTG, SW destiny or otherwise, are great. I cannot reccomend this place enough!

The shop is large with allot of table space free gaming. Couldn't recommend a better store to visit our game in.

Nice place to pay games with whoever is around. They have game nights for specific games, and they sell everything you need to pay card games, board games or tabletop games.
