Gelateria Bico

Love this place. Have been coming here since the beginning. The consistency and texture is always perfect. The tiramisu is by far my favourite, it is so good. All their flavours are amazing though. Also two great guys, father and son combo and the place is named after the father of the Dad. Support local, we are lucky to have these guys in Brunswick.

Great choice of classic flavours including creams and fruit, and awesome specials on rotation.

One taste and we were hooked on the pistachio gelato - definitely lived up to our very high expectations from the reviews.
The grapefruit was so refreshing, with that perfect sweet / bitter balance. Friendly service & meticulous attention to food safety, e.g. Server washed hands well after handling money. We'll be back!

Best Gelato in Melbourne, my partner and I visit weekly if not more, he gets Pistachio every time while I try everything else on the menu. The tartufi are so elegant and delicious and the blood orange cheesecake special blew my mind.

Best pistachio gelato in Melbourne! Tried most (maybe all) of the listed Top 5 gelato places in Melb. Nothing beats Bico’s pistachio gelato! The sweet and savoury balance, and the creaminess brings out the flavour. Yum!

(PS/// Perhaps adding some finely chopped pistachios can make it the best pistachio gelato)

Even though it shuts down during winter months, it's still by far my favourite gelato place. Highly recommend the pistachio and hazelnut, and they have interesting rotating flavours, for example, mandarin, fennel and fig.

Came here on Thursday night at 7: 30pm and it was closed. No updates on the website. I love their ice cream but would be good to know their actual opening hours.

You won't expect it, but by far best gelato in whole of Melbourne, better than the known names such as messina or pidapipo. All flavours are amazing and taste so fresh. I love the straciatella, chocolate, and banana. Staff is very friendly and always in for a chat.

Best pistachio gelato in Melbourne hands down. Other great flavours to try are stracciatella, fior di banana, ricotta & citrus, yoghurt & wildberry. I know that’s listing out almost all of their menu items but this gelateria is really one of the best establishments in Melbourne.

Love this gelataria. The best pistachio I have tasted. All in house made. You must try it.

Gelato is tasty, however a few reasons why I won't be back:

- The older gentleman often looks unhappy when serving my partner and I. Makes us feel like we're bothering them by just being in the store.

- If you get the younger chap, he will actually give you two full scoops. The older worker seems a bit less generous with his scoops which is disappointing for the price.

- Was charged $24 for 2 scoops on two cones. The price advertised is $16 so was overcharged.

This is our go to place to enjoy gelato as a family in a Melbournian hot summer day. Have been coming to this gelateria for a couple of years and with every visit is always something to cherish. The owners are very friendly and lovely people. Bico is synonymous to the best gelato in Melbourne.

By far our favourite gelato! Fav is ricotta citrus and the granitas. But everything is amazing. Also, the specials are always magic.

This place is amazing! I always buy my ice-cream here now, and I can always count on quality Italian gelato!
