We had the vegetarian platter, which is priced at $25 pp and comes with 5 dishes - 3 veges and 2 lentils - a shiro sauce and a salad. The injera was the real standout, being made with a mix of 70% teff and very fluffy and flavorful. The vegetables were not as flavorful as we'd hoped, but still very good. The only downside is that the portion sizes of the vegetable and lentil dishes were quite small.

This place has some of the most delicious Ethiopian food I have ever had, which was accompanied very well by their excellent service.

We attended a family dinner here and it was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were just right and the service was perfect. Highly recommend for a really affordable night out

We got the meat platter for 3 people. We thought the food tasted great but unlike some of the photos here, we were pretty underwhelmed at the amount of food. Each meat flavour (I think there was 3 or 4) was literally 1 or 2 spoon-fulls each. Just a small dollop on the bread. I don’t think I’m being greedy or anything but for $27 each it seemed a bit disappointing. Very friendly staff though. Other than that it was nice.

Been here maybe 3-4 times already, best place for Ethiopian outside of Footscray for sure! Excellent food, would definitely recommend a mix of the meat & vegetarian platter. The chef and owner are also super friendly and warm, we usually just ask them for their recommendations and they never disappoint!

Took my mum here last night and we absolutely loved it. Staff were so lovely, food was delicious and it was overall just an awesome experience.

First time trying Ethiopian food, and was mind blown with the complexity and of course the way the food was served and eaten. We had the meat platter for two, and left satisfied with the portion and taste. Worth to give it a visit!

The customer service is not great. We found hair in our food and called the waiters to show her the was a long hair and she said “oh it wasn’t in there the chef’s hair is covered so i don’t know” I had to take it out myself to show her me and my friends are hijabs and there was no way that it was our hair. I was very annoyed at her she could’ve been polite and just change the food for us. But the chef was good and welcoming.

It was a different eating experience. We used bread to pick up and eat our food. Having said that, we enjoyed the food, we had the vege banquet and a meat dish. Both were very flavoursome. Not spicy.
It was busy for a Wednesday night, that says a lot.
I do recommend this place.

My partner and I came here for a mid-week dinner recently. We were greeted by a lovely and friendly man. We ordered a shared meat and veggie platter with a Coke Zero and St George beer. When ordering and serving, the gentleman was very attentive, helpful and even gave us more injera when needed. The facilities (bathrooms) were clean and well serviced. It appeared that there were only two people working, however, the food came out very quickly and was so delicious! As we sat, many tables filled up with happy diners. At the end of our meal, we paid a very reasonable amount for an amazing spread of food. We will definitely be back soon, thanks so much!

Went here a couple of weeks ago, but still remember the extremely great hostess we had that night. From introducing and recommending us the honey liquor and wonderful Ethiopian spread.
