Geelong's Gym / 10 South

A few months ago I decided to change gyms and as a result thought I would try a few gyms in the Geelong area before purchasing a membership. After reading online that Geelong's Gym had a free trial I made my way to the gym keen to give it a go. However when I arrived at reception and asked if I could please use the free trial as advertised I was told that this free trial would be taken off a purchase of a membership (not advertised) and therefore I would not be able to try the gym without purchasing a casual visit or membership. When I explained that this was not what was advertised the man who was at the main desk was rude, confrontational and clearly questioned my legitimacy of joining the gym. The manner in which the man spoke to me and the condesending tone he used resulted in me leaving quite upset and shocked.

I am glad to say I have recently joined a gym with a full membership in Geelong that is welcoming and friendly with great customer service, unlike Geelong's Gym. I would encourage those who would like to feel under valued and have their integrity as a person questioned to give Geelong's Gym a go.

Signed up one year ago and just renewed my membership. Staff is very friendly and strive to help you achieving your goals. Great mix of classes and machines. Virtual spinning is great to have a class whenever you feel like it. Never too crowded and great atmosphere. Can only recommend

I went to this gym earlier in the year to have a look at the equipment and get a free 7-day trial, as advertised on their website. Upon arriving at the gym and inquiring about receiving the trial membership and potentially joining the gym I was told that the 7-day trial would only be received after signing a membership and paying to join the gym. The gentlemen behind the counter was rude and confrontational about the trial, as though I was trying to scam the gym and was not genuinely interested in joining.

I would not recommend approaching this gym, unless you want to feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer.

I have been a member here for approximately 20 years and having travelled and lived over seas extensively and been a member of numerous gyms whilst away there is nothing I look fwd to more than when I return home and pop back into geelongs gym and talk to Gerard. It may sound corny but it really feels like home and I'm part of the family. Great gym. Great staff. What more can I say!

Since joining Geelongs Gym about 5 months ago, I have loved the sense of community and fun that I get from all of the great staff and trainers. I have never enjoyed going to the Gym as much as I do now! Great facilities, awesome timetable of classes to choose from and a very welcoming atmosphere.

I absolutely love the atmosphere here, the classes are amazing and the environment is so welcoming. Not only are you joining a Gym but a community.

I've been a member here for over 8 years and tried most things on offer. Spin, Step, Pump, Cardio Boxing, Pilates, Yoga, Tribe Life, Body Attack and Tabata. I work hard and am fitter than I've ever been! I change things up regularly to fit my workouts in around my other commitments. If I can make it work for me, so can you so give it a go!

Geelong's Gym have amazing, friendly and supportive staff. I would absolutely recommend them to people of all fitness levels. It's a fun and friendly place to exercise with a variety of group fitness classes and great cardio and weights equipment.

I have been an ongoing member for ten years now. I have always loved coming to this gym as it is in such a great location within Geelong. Gerrard the owner is always keeping the facilities up to date and there is never a time that can be missed working out at the gym because they now have 24 hour access which is fantastic. Machines, equipment and classes are always kept up to date with quality staff available for any personal training needs. The best quality gym in the Geelong Newtown area.

I've been coming here for thirty five years and I have never had as much fun as in the last twelve months. The new Tribe fit classes are amazing. It has improved my overall fitness out of sight. The trainers and instructors are great. The 24 access really suits my lifestyle too. I've been to other gyms over the years but this is the best.

Excellent equipment suited for all fitness levels in a positive environment. So many great classes to do with encouraging instructors!

Fantastic gym, friendly and helpful staff/trainers, and all-round best gym to go to. Amazing range of classes and suitable times for everyone. With a range of different people visiting, I feel comfortable at this gym, unlike other Gym Chains in Geelong. Recommend 110%!

I have been going to this gym for over five years and love the atmosphere. A mixture of friendly staff, open layout with plenty of equipment available at any time of day to allow for anyone of any age or ability to get a great workout. I have been to most gyms in Geelong and by far this is the best. Highly recommend to anyone!

Geelong's Gym has made me a self-confessed gym junkie! Great classes and instructors! I also love using MyZone - it has motivated me beyond belief.

Geelong's Gym has been a really positive, enjoyable lifestyle choice for me for quite a few years. The facilities and equipment, the culture of its membership, the quality of the training experts and continual program or equipment innovations combine to create a training atmosphere where it's easy and fun to achieve personal fitness goals. My own injury issues are better than I can remember and I think the 24/7 open hours are responsible for that. Geelong's Gym is a terrific place for anyone that cares about their fitness and health.

At the end of August this year I took the plunge and requested the online free '7 day pass' that Geelong Gym has to offer. Within a few hours I received a phone call from a friendly voice, welcoming me into my soon to be new workout environment!
I personally was suffering from high anxiety at the thought of entering a gym, however Geelong Gym has completely eliminated all fear and stress related to this perception! Geelong Gym offers genuine one on one support, fantasic experienced personal trainers, a wide range of quality equipment, 24/7 access, and much more!

If you are looking for a gym to feel comfortable no matter your ability, honestly look no further than Geelong Gym!

Ive been a member at many of geelong gyms but none compare to this one. I am currently into my 4th month membership and can proudly say this gym is absolulty fantatic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The equipment are 5 star, clean and have never had an issues with them. The group sessions particularly cardio box, yoga, pump and tibata are fantastic. This gym is fantastic and would recommend to all my friends and family. If u want to be treated like a person and not a number then definitely go to Geelongs Gym. I love how its never overly busy especially in the group workout!

Geelong's Gym is an incredibly warm and friendly environment. I've just recently joined with my partner and we felt very welcome on our first visit. The staff are lovely, facilities are fantastic and we couldn't be happier with the service. There's no wonder that Geelong's Gym has been around for over 50 years!
