Gazman saved the day again! Needed a last minute shirt for a Summer Cocktail themed wedding and not only did Tracy sort me out within 5 minutes, she even steamed the shirt and I was on my way to the wedding! Will be back!

The gay staff member working at this store needs to stay home.
Not sure why these sort of people ruin a brand like gazman.
Rudest person ever, just wants to stand behind the counter and not help with anything.

I hate having to give this review but I just experienced some really poor service at the Vic Gardens store (13/10) at 5: 30pm.
I went in to buy a gift for my dad, the male staff member behind the counter was pretty unhelpful to begin with, he just stood by the counter and kept to himself but did respond to my questions and I made it very obvious I was buying these as a gift, I mentioned it several times. I couldn’t decide on the colour and told him I’d be back shortly just needed to think about what colour shorts to buy and returned to purchase a sand coloured pair. Once the purchase went through I asked for a gift receipt, he told me he couldn’t give me one after the transaction was made. That was it. I was honestly confused how that could be. When I asked how my dad could exchange the size he said I could cut the bottom off and just give my dad the barcode and it “should” work as a gift receipt but it didn’t seem like a confident suggestion. It was definitely like “sorry not sorry”. I know most POS systems allow you to print a gift receipt not only after the transaction but the sale will have a history and you can print from there. Anyway he was very unhelpful and I walked away feeling weird about the whole thing. My partner straight away said to go back and return the item, purchase it again and get a gift receipt which seemed ridiculous but I also didn’t want to give my dad the gift and him not be able to easily exchange the size or colour. I went back and the sales assistant looked perplexed and that it was a ridiculous request which trust me I didn’t really want to do either but the whole thing had quickly become over complicated and if he had just offered one in the first place this situation would not have arisen.

I think it’s pretty common practice to offer a gift receipt when you know the customer is buying the item as a gift. Otherwise if he is correct in that you can’t print a gift receipt after the sale has been made then that’s also a problem. Finally he then explained there would be no issues with the current receipt and it would be fine (even though I had used my card so it didn’t really make sense if my dad came in with the receipt wanting a refund with a different card) when I said it was just confusing as you said it “should be ok” he looked at me like I was crazy and said a snarky “you’re very detail oriented aren’t you” remark. The whole thing was honestly a really bad experience and this interaction upset me more than I’d like to admit. I won’t be shopping here again.

Came in an hour before closing. Was told they'd closed the till as it "was a quiet night". I'd come shopping specifically to go here, very disappointing to waste my time

Good selection and Simon who was working g there was super helpful. Good returns u was able to swap over some stuff that was the wrong size.
