Gary designed a great plan for our Daylesford garden. He understood the brief and came back with good options.

Gary designed the landscaping for our home in Bendigo. We had an unusual quirky shaped home and consequently, we engaged Gary to design it for us. From the outset, Gary was clear and professional as to his fee structure and the differing levels of service he can offer. The ongoing consultative process whereby Gary sought to understand what we wanted was excellent. A few design iterations later and we now have a plan that we are very happy with.

We engaged Gary to oversee and direct a significant revamp of our outdoor area. He was always contactable and responsive. When he said he would be there, he was (often earlier). He worked hard on making things right and accommodating changes that needed to be made as the job progressed. We are very happy with the end result, which was accomplished within the quotes we were given.

How surprising these days to find a contractor who does exactly what he says, when he says and for the original estimated cost – but Gary Winter managed to do all of these when he undertook our garden renovation last year! I have waited over a year to write to you and to thank you for the amazing transformation you and your team have done to our garden. You envisioned a concept and true to your expertise, our garden has blossomed as you foresaw. The 70’s style garden which we had has been transformed into an informal lovely bush garden, which was exactly what we asked for. You had the imagination to use natural materials which were strewn naturally on the land and to use that as part of the landscape, making the garden ‘blend’ into the natural surrounding landscape. Living on 4 acres in the Black Forest, you have attracted wild birds to the area and the colours and smells that surround the house is delightful.

I want to thank you and your team for a job well done, for being prompt, for keeping areas clean, tidy and being respectful to all our animals, which I’m sure a few came to see what you were up to.
