Gardiners Creek Trail Box Hill South

Nice walking path, fairly quiet during the day. Right next to the golf course so you can peer into it if you want. Good for exercise, but not a lot to see, except perhaps a lot of graffiti and some abandoned school grounds.

Grab a coffee. Go for a walk. Take a seat and watch the golfers hit into the sand traps. Good spot.

This trail is too busy with everyone trying to get their essential exercise. Cyclists need to slow right down when there are families with very young children knowing that they have very few choices for exercise whole playgrounds are closed. Thanks to the crazy management of public resources by our despotic govt.

This walking trail is just outside the Box Hill golf club. It's fantastic for walking, running, biking or simply hanging out in the nature.

All suburban environments should have interlinking native walking/cycling trails all the way to the city.

A lovely walking track that is slightly undulating at the Riverdales Road end. This trail is shady in part. Water fountain tap can be found along this trail. Damselfles have been spotted at the bridge closer to Canterbury road end. Watch out for vicious bull ants in the thick undergrowth towards this end. Stay on the track. I got bitten on both ankles. Nasty. An EPA noticeboard about water pollution with handy numbers can be seen around here also.
