Garden State Café (& Night Market)

I love this place. What a great idea for a little restaurant. We did the all you can eat and look, the various food was about average but I don't think you should set your expectations high with the price. These guys have a great little thing here and I'd highly recommend them.

Its hard to give a "great" review as the food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's amazing and sometimes it's not great quality and inconsistent ingredients. Pick up prices match what you get, online prices are high for what you get.

Booked the night before, when we walked in our booking was missing. Seemed like it was run by young kids, no staff over the age of 25. They all seemed like it was their first night, no one knew what was going on.

The food was average, seems to be a Uber ghost kitchen set up where 4 "unique restaurants" all operate out of the one kitchen. All tasted re-heated. I ordered a hotdog, and it was worse than I could of made at home. Wings were okay though. Bread tasted stale and hard.

Venue itself is tiny and more designed as a cafe and not a dine in restaurant. Very limited tables.

Probably wont go back.
I would be suspect on all these "5 star" reviews as it really doesn't seem to reflect the experience.

Great price for what we got. The burgers especially were good. Staff was helpful and friendly

Came here for the first time with my mate who’s been here a few times before and at the very least could say that the customer service from one of the male workers was probably the friendliest interactions I’ve had yet! (As if he was my own mate, but I’ve never met him before) I definitely would come back again for some more food and to meet that same guy

Friendly staff, wasn’t sure this would be open at 12am but they are. Great food, great service. Keep up the great work.

Not everyday I'd give full 5 stars. Great food, amazing service. The owner even threw in a free milk tea for waiting long. That's how service should be. Come check them out.

Recommendations - toilet is not accessible inside the building.
Tricky to find parking.
Operates under State Garden with 8 different brands. Food - go a little lighter with bbq sauce in the burger. Strike the balance.

Other than these minor adjustments, what a great little gem. Will definitely come back with friends

A cute little cafe in an industrial area. The staff here are super friendly and accommodating! They have an extensive menu so there's something for everyone. The fried chicken was good and chips were crispy. Opens till late so it's a great place to hang at night!

The one staff member who served me was rude and unpresentable (wearing a dirty hoodie?), ruined an otherwise good cafe experience…

Many people in our office love this cafe. The staff are friendly and the food is great. Highly recommend there chicken and avo sandwich

I've just polished off a ham-cheese-tomato croissant in record time, and I have to say it's the best I've ever had. Super generous fillings, good cheese that stays in the pastry when it melts.

Lovely friendly staff and great service; our whole office is so pleased that the space that has been empty since at least September 2021 has been taken up by such a neat little endeavour!
