Garden Gear

Called at 10am literally day before Xmas eve.
Had what I wanted (soft mulch) at a competitive price, lovely assistant who took my order, no fuss.
Had it on the next truck, had it in my driveway 30 minutes later, had it finished and in my garden bed by 2pm.
Thanks to Garden Gear for the quick and professional service. Least I could do is leave my review:)

Bunch of cowdoy drives who road rage, break road laws, abuse peole and have absolutely no consideration for anyone elso on the road.
I urge you to please shop somewhere else if there drivers are allowed to drive around the way the do doesn't say much about this company.

From a chance meeting with Garden Gear in Bunyip we have stumbled upon the best garden supplier in Melbourne. Joe, the manager at Mulgrave I would have to say is an absolute credit to Garden Gear and also our business. The amount of help and care for another company you have shown us is outstanding. If you are looking for a garden supplier that will treat your business as their own look no further! A special thanks to Rod and Sam in Dispatch. You guys are legends!

Hopeless customer service. Impatient person on the phone. Put me on call waiting for ages. Will spend my money elsewhere.

Have used Garden gear a few times now for various soil/rock deliveries. Reasonable prices and have been able to deliver same day most of the time. Would recommend them.

Went down for a bag of sand and pebbles. Discussed a couple of projects and walked away well-informed. Now we are feeling very comfortable with it all. BTW, got the pebbles and gravel instead. On their advice!

And we got a soil delivery which was on time. The driver was very helpful and dropped the load on the spot we wanted. It was all safe and solid for the truck.

Absolutely ridiculous, charge $5.90 for buying less than a cubic metre of product! Paid for the product, paid for the delivery, so why the extra $5.90? Was not even informed of this fee when placing order and discovered it once delivery was made.

My husband went there the day after we recieved our delivery with a trailer to purchase 1/4 metre of product and we cop the $5.90 charge again!
NOT a good look Garden Gear Mulgrave!

We questioned the fee and the older guy in the office advised us "it was what it was". I suggest buying elsewhere as this is ludicrous and Garden Gear Mulgrave should NOT be ripping of the customers they rely on for business.

Fantastic advice from the staff in selecting the right pebbles for our project. The delivery was on time and saved us a lot of hard work.
Based on the excellent service, we'll be back for mulch when we refresh our gardens!

Used mini mix from Garden Gear twice. The first time we received what we paid for. The second time we were obviously the second delivery from a single batch which was old when it was delivered to us at the arranged time. Within half hour of delivery the mix was setting and unworkable. I am left with a job which I will need to patch with a screed and will never be as it should have been. This was not a hot day, low 20s. The delivered concrete was not fit for purpose. Do not use Garden Gear for mini mix concrete.

A truly local feel. They helped in choosing the correct materials and even did the calculations for my job. Will keep on going there - you are in safe hands and they care about their customers!

Bought ‘vegetable garden soil’ from them and they said it would be suitable for planting vegetables in it. We tested the soil’s pH and it is incredibly alkaline. Contacted the company and they didn’t seem concerned.
We wanted to support a local business but we wish we went with Bunnings instead.

Always cheerful and professional staff that have met my trade requirements. They are so committed to their clients, sometimes even waiting for me beyond trading hours.

The best place to find quality soil in Melbourne. They have whatever you need.
They have different type of soul and garden supplies.
The soil quality is always perfect, however the soil quantity is always different:)
I usually purchase half a meter soil and always end up with different amount of it:)

Love the turf and landscaping supplies display along the front fence. I just wish every supplier did that. More power to ya'
