Gami Chicken & Beer Tarneit

My family and I enjoy dining at Gami in Wyndham Village, Tarneit on special occasions. It's exciting to support a Filipino-owned restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are extremely accommodating. Our experiences at Gami have always been wonderful. Today, we chose to celebrate my son's graduation with a small family gathering.

After calling the restaurant, Ed, who assisted with our reservation, was extremely helpful. He even sent a message before our dinner to inquire if we were celebrating any special occasion. I informed him that we were having a modest gathering to mark my son's graduation from sixth grade. In response, he suggested that we could place a pre-order in advance of our reservation.

Upon arrival, we noticed a thoughtful decoration in honor of Jacob's 6th grade completion, arranged by him. It was greatly appreciated as my son tends to shy away from attention. But I could tell he felt very special and I am grateful for the effort Ed put into making him feel that way. The unexpected touch added a 5-star element to our dining experience at Gami and we are thankful to Ed and the staff for creating such a memorable meal.

Throughout the evening, the staff at Gami were attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate Jacob's graduation. It was a kind gesture that made our dinner even more enjoyable

I will say I will never go back, I waited 55 min for a Bibimbap and kimchi to take away for lunch. It was the worst smelling plate of food I have ever experienced. My friend that eats anything wouldn’t eat it. Disgusting

Everything was too sweet because of the sauce they used. Public holiday charge is 15%. Which we don’t mind as it goes towards the people working there. Paid $65, I was having my first meal of the day at 3’30 pm and let me tell u, you get little food for what you pay for. And its SWEET. Not satisfied at all.

We got the Fried chicken for 1, large, Japchae and chips. The food and flavour was amazing! Would definitely come back

Food: not good, The food tastes too salty (but corn cheese tastes good).
Service: just say hi.
It can be a new employee/relatively inexperienced person who works very slowly, is careless and forgets things. (When there are no other customers, the serving speed is also very slow)
Clean: Good
Tidy: Good
Price: so-so
Interior: Simple, the restaurant can accommodate about 30 people.

The meal was pricey, but it tasted amazing. We shared the large boneless "for one" dish and had it covered in sweet chili sauce, it was absolutely delicious!
The service was great and the atmosphere relaxing.
I highly recommend going here and definitely plan to come again myself.

Their chicken drumsticks and chips are so yummy. Friendly customer service and nice shop fitout.

It’s calm here with my 3 friends (first time) I would definitely come here again especially the cheese sticks and boneless chicken

Ordered take-out, but whilst waiting for my food, I felt quite uncomfortable as there was a group in the corner of the restaurant making inappropriate jokes and noises at full volume, well aware that there were kids in my group (and were sitting right beside them).

Other than that, staff was nice and food was great.

Had lunch after school with my friends and the service was absolutely amazing. The food came quickly and was phenomenal. Gave us free desserts due to graduating high school. Will definitely be coming back, thank you!

Had dinner at this place tonight for my daughters graduation. The lady there was so nice. I didnt catch her name. She is filipino.
She gave us free dessert and a pitcher of pepsi as a gift. More blessings to you ate. Thank you for being so generous! I have never met a Filipino this nice and humble.

One of the best Korean fried chicken place I’ve ever been! The staffs was so friendly and the food there was outstanding! So crispy yet so tender! I highly recommend this place for those who love fried chicken!

Placed an order, was told it was ready. Went to pick up, had to wait almost an hour. Could not cancel order as they marked it as completed.

Wow! Food is amazing. The wait staff is beautiful and handsome, and the chefs.even better. Would come again but live in New Zealand.

The food is nice but they need to focus on managing online order. I placed order online & picked up time was set at 7: 02pm, I checked my order online, and it was ready to pick up, I were there, and still need to wait for another 35 mins
