Gami Chicken & Beer

Food quality is going downhill lately. Last order we had tasted like the meats have been re-heated a few times: Dry and Tough.

My original review was 4 stars though I now need to change it to 1stars.
We have been going here a few months and it used to be great though now they use mostly leg meat and it's VERY low quality. Our last meal was slapped together and disgusting to eat. Needless to say it ended up in the dogs bowl.

Great chicken, great chips. The salad is non existent just a small bunch of leaves.
Don't order the coleslaw it's tiny.
Don't order the radish it's tiny.

Uncooked boneless chicken. The meat inside is still white/greyish. Even have bubbles when I tear one piece out to check. Very disappointed, my friend ordered before and told me about this as well but I still give this place a try, turned out it's true. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Waste of money

I ordered a takeaway Tteok-bokki only to receive noodles and veggies. No rice cakes or fish cakes! Not one! I was looking forward to it all week. They did offer another one but only if I picked it up and it was a 20 minute round trip I did not want to make. They would not deliver.

I love fried chicken, so maybe I'm biased, but omg I love Gami's every time I go. The food is so amazing, I always leave happy.

Gami - Sunshine West
I don't normally give reviews but this calls for it and if I could give 0 stars, I would.
Ordered takeaway through Deliveroo an hour before closing time. Driver was nice enough to come to our address because they couldn't contact us to ask if someone else came by with our food. Gami had given our order to another driver who supposedly had the same order number as us. With experience working in fast food, this is definitely not possible. Driver called Gami and unfortunately for us because it was closing time, they had already 'cleaned their filters' and unable to make our order. Again, we know how fast food restaurants work and cleaning ALL filters 30mins after closing is also not possible. 5 stars for the driver but 0 for Gami.

Very good fried chicken but occasionally, they run out of corn cheese so if you want that particular dish, call them to check in advance.

Very good customer service, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Fried chickens were fresh and crispy.

Chips - Hot and crunchy very yummy!

Potato heaven - They give more cheese than other Gamis we’ve been to. Yummy!

Chicken corndue - Out of the 2 chicken flavours (boxing drums and cheese-powdered wings), the boxing drums are very dry. The wings however are juicy and nice. The cheese corndue isn’t as flavourful and is slightly grainy due to being corn-based. It does look attractive but we wouldn’t recommend (it’s $42 and is not as yummy as the boneless chicken). We would recommend the juicy boneless chickens instead.

The spicy sauce isn’t spicy like other Gamis, it tasted very similar to the sweet chilli sauce.

Best chicken around, cheese sticks where crispy on the outside so tasty, Korean dumplings where also amazing

First time trying this one as it was close by, boneless was good but lots of batter pieces. Also got the katsu which was burnt maybe won't order that next time.

Gami chicken is always good, but the experience at this store makes it better. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent! We'll be back again soon.

Takes the spot for my favourite Gami location! Staff are so friendly and accommodating! It’s pretty hard not to eat here multiple times a week. I usually won’t order the rice cake dish at other locations anymore, but tried it here and am hooked again! Great place to bring some life to the suburb!

They only gave the Uber driver half my meal (order was $100)
Then they were too lazy to call the Uber driver to go back, so they told me I had to call the driver and I said, shouldn’t you do that? And then they said I had to go pick it up and I said, but I’ve paid to have it delivered. I asked them how I can be refunded for the items that didn’t arrive and they said no but the best part was that all the food was cold. Worst customer service ever.if I had the option I would rate it a -5

Ordered 8 piece wings ($13) to takeaway. Quick service, crispy chicken with spicy sauce on the side. Turnips were slightly too salty compared to other gami locations.
