Gami Chicken & Beer

Ordered our food, two out of five waited 15 minutes later to get our food. Kinda annoying seeing tables who have arrived later get their meals before the 2 that have been patiently waiting. The Katsu burgers were so dark and burnt. Not like the pictures or reviews received. When we did get our other items they were ok.

Just didn’t like that staff could not see how burnt the food was. Especially when they’re tag line is chicken and beer. We’ve been a lot of times and this experience was a real let down.

I also didn’t like that we ordered glass bottle Pepsis which cost more, and we received cans. I think the menu should be updated.

We also didn’t love how uncomfortable the seating was, the wooden boxes are so uncomfortable. Some cushions wouldn’t go astray as the wooden box isn’t appropriate seating.

We usually love this restaurant for its affordability and fresh food but it was just a let down this time around.

Hopefully feedback is taken onboard.

Very tasty delicious food. Only bad thing is the kids screaming in the playground. Kids are cute but not when constantly high pitch screaming.

Went 3rd Sept around 12PM - 1PM Great food. Loved the Unmissable Chicken as I am able to taste their chicken varieties. Always check your water though as we saw a tiny particle in our jug of water. 2/5 due to - water and upon going out the asian guy at the door thanked the person in front of us and he just looked at us. Maybe he thought that we did not pay as we did online ordering? Appalling service from that guy at the door, I have to thank him instead of him thanking me.

Nice atmosphere and good food, but a bit expensive for portion. Ordered potato heaven and was very good! Waiting time varies depending on certain times.

Last night I had dinner at Gami at highpoint. I ordered a few items and they were all so delicious!

The staff were so friendly, and their service was so quick!

I highly recommend the yummy vegetarian dumplings, the very juicy gami chicken lite burger and the creamy corn cheese. I love eating here as it has such a vibrant vibe all the time. Highly reccomend trying this place out!

Had dinner 2 People GOT FOOD POISONING from CHICKEN horrible food DO NOT RECOMMEND UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Bring old owners back never had an issue with them. Will not be going back. Prices gone UP spent $60 food quality gone DOWN.

Come for dinner in Highpoint SC. Settled for this place. Raining outside and the window seats we have to move. The window was leaking water. Order and expect good food.

I used to loved gami but can't understand why they hiked their menu prices up so much. What used to be $48 is now the equivalent of $74 for the boneless chicken, corn cheese and sides.pretty disappointing

3 out of the 5 times we ordered here for delivery we had to throw out the coleslaw as it was off and stinky. I am not sure how they’re preparing it.

For a place that specialises in chicken I'm shocked the cook would send out a burnt parma. My order was forgotten about and when it was eventually brought to me the edges were burnt to a crisp (it was black and very obvious) and the rest of the chicken was so dry!

Chicken did not taste fresh and wasn't warm when it was handed to me. Had to reheat it at home.

These guys can't cook Korean food here especially their japchae the noodles are all stuck together like what hell. Their chicken taste sooo dry just leaves awful taste in your mouth. I would not recommend this place absolutely avoid.

Used to be a good place to go for fried chicken. But their quality and quantity is off the cliff. We had a large boneless chicken but i wasn’t sure it was chicken or chicken Nuggets. Now you even have buy basic coleslaw (not actual a coleslaw) which used to be standard with chicken few months before. You guys only can survive here in Melbourne because we dont have much options. Not worth the money at all.

True to their word, management explained the mix up and rectified the previous hiccup. Appreciate the gesture and followup. Always good to see businesses stand by values.

Lacklustre service at best, did not serve water upon being seated and we came at quiet time with only one other table, food was ok I’ve had better at other Gami establishments, slightly unfortunate that my partner and I both experienced mild food poising reactions which we suspect was from either the daikon or the chicken,

The chickens are good, I love the cornchese and the potato here. Staffs are really friendly too.

I occasionally come to this restaurant as a go to place and I absolutely love it. It's a quick and easy store to go and to and staff are very friendly! Would recommend as a place to hang out with friends and even comes with a playground for the children! Keep up the good work bffs! ️️

I enjoyed the food at this place and will definitely eat here again. Good service and the food is great.

The fried chicken was soo tasty.i would recommend eating here, it’s worth the price and they cook the best chicken. 10/10
