Gami Chicken & Beer reviews
30Good chicken but delivery app is very convoluted and they did not remember any of the sauces on the side and gave us plain chicken with nothing.
My last experience was subpar. It tasted and looked like subpar Cookasten chicken. Disappointing because this is where it all began for me with gami. Hopefully it was a one off fail
You know how delicious the food will be before tasting, when you see more than 20 uber eats picking up customer orders. Come check it out yourself, best chicken in Melbourne
We order the whole chicken with boneless, the chickens are juicy, with the soy garlic sauce or sweet and chilly sauce, makes chicken more tasty.it’s good to change the different flavor when you have the fried meal.the seafood pancake is crispy, nothing special but still ok.this restaurant is located in the basement.watch out! Don’t be miss.haha.
My go to Korean chicken place. Beer and chicken and wonderful sodes. Highly recommend the wings, but boneless if your lazy. Pro tip. Get the sauce on the side.
Great place to just chill and relax around some good Korean food. Menu is simple only offering a few dishes, but they also have a full page of Gami Fried Chicken which was really crispy, tasty and delicious. Also had the tteokbokki which was a lil more spicy that I thought it would be, but was really good as well. Would definitely return.
Great little hidden gem. Chicken is always tender and the service is great. The guys that work there are cute too ;)
If it's your first time, I'll give you the combo you want, corn cheese as an appetizer, boneless original chicken with every dipping sauce, boom, set for food, for drinks, get the original Soju, and the grape bonbon juice as a chaser and your night is going to be amazing. Thank me later
Unbelievable chicken, even got a little frisky and tried out the volcanic sauce option (it was bangin) spicy but a nice smoky flavour.
Time: thursday morning, quiet
Customer service experienced: standard
The waiter seem to have a little attitude toward my friend- she spoke fast but unclear like she is chewing her tongue out. *I hope she got the first aid with her*
The food: AMAZING & well represented.
The environment: clean and neat
Excellent service, polite crew and food thats both tasty as and worth every dollar. If you cant decide where to go for dinner tonight, go to Gami
Not sure what all reviews are about. Maybe they don't care about their takeaway customers. We got our whole chicken more than an hours after ordering and it was 10 pm on Thursday night. Chicken pieces were very dry and tasteless. Honestly, kfc tastes better and is quicker.
Good food, delicious chicken. The only down side is that they tend to run out of rice? How does that happen? They should plan better because it’s honestly not that hard to cook another batch of rice.
Had to leave because the place smelt so bad and felt generally unclean. Was really excited to try a new location but left a little disgusted
Love going to Gami chicken, its the best Korean fried chicken I have had in Melbourne mainly due to the sauces they dump all over it. The sides are tasty but don't quite live up the the chicken.
Just amazing fried chicken! If you’re game, go the volcano chicken. Soooo hot but so good with the salad and beer. They just churn out amazing chicken even when you get there a minute before the kitchen closes!
I've only ever been here with groups of 6+
And I would 100% reccomend.
That chicken is gosh darn scrumptious!
My dude, you want to go here. You really, really want to do this.
I promise you.
Get yourself some of that cheesy corn, and potato heaven. And grab some of the chilli fried chicken and what ever else catches your eye.
Then smash some bevies and wild out on that chicken.
So good. Sooo good! Boneless chicken with great sauces - go spicy, cabbage salad and good beer. Plus the team are great.
I ordered takeaway from Gami. Ordered the fried chicken with soy and garlic, seafood pancake. They forgot to give me the seafood pancake and when I rang to let them know, they told me to go back and pick it up. The food was mediocre. The chicken wasn't crunchy. The seafood pancake was bland. I think there are many other better Korean places than this.
