Gami Chicken & Beer

I love Gami in Hawthorn the most. Their fried chicken is tender and juicer compared to the others. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Even I live in the city, I still go to Hawthorn for Gami.

Don’t bother ordering from this restaurant.
We had our order delivered by UBER EATS and the sweet potato noodles serve was a quarter of what you get at the restaurant.
I have had this dish at the before and the portion is always generous, however what it was delivered was nothing.
Called the restaurant to complain and according to the person I spoke with there was nothing they could do as the order was already delivered. After that he just hung up the phone on me.

Out of all the Gami chicken restaurants, this is BY FAR the worst one! I'm happy to pay $35 for chicken but it was overcooked, dry and 50% wasn't covered in the sauce. Complete let down!

I used to love Gami.
Today I ordered a delivery of wings, a couple of the pieces were literally 2cm long, chicken had a chemical taste, the sauce was not enough to cover my 8 pieces and the bowl of the potato haven barely passed half of the bowl.
Very disapointing and a complete rip off.
No thanks.

This place is a must-go in Glenferrie. Half chicken with garlic and soy sauce is my favorite. The chips are super crispy. Love it.

Amazing! The lady even gave us chopsticks. We ordered vegetarian wings (good and textured) some jae chae which was amazing and the spicy fish cakes and rice cakes which were the best

Was seriously impressed by this place! Wasn't sure what to expect so had the flagship fried chicken burger with the matching beer. Staff were friendly enough and the food came in good time. That burger was delicious! Just the right balance of flavours, textures and moisture. Will look forward to having it again.

Lowest quality of all.
Staff is not helpful. I ordered delivery many many times the quality is never the same. FORGET to put noodles in my spicy seafoods soup (18$) TWICE.

WINGS AND CHIPS WERE OK AT BEST AND THE BONELESS CHICKEN LACKED FLAVOUR AND WAS DRY.

NEXT TIME PUT SOME SEASONING ON THE BONELESS CHICKEN.

I mean.what is this? I ordered the new volcano flavour boneless chicken and the sauce was barely marinated like in the photo. The skin was so hard and most of the pieces were dry breast part which is unusual. I called them up but no one picked it up. I ordered deliveries many times but the taste and quality is NEVER the same. Unprofessional.

Love the food very nice been there a few times food is always fresh and hot. Staff need to put a smile on there faces but other then that not bad.

Made-to-order Korean Fried Chicken! We had the soy and garlic and they were yummy! Staff were friendly and easy to talk with. They were accommodating to a couple of changes we asked for regarding our order. Will be back.

Go for the chicken, and keep coming back for the chicken. Try the boneless sweet chilli for a good time

Some of the best fried chicken I have had.

I went in with a group and ordered quite a bit in between us. We got some spicy and some original fried boneless pieces which was full of flavour, the kimchii pancakes were amazing and the dumplings was tasty!

Well cooked & flavourful Korean fried chicken & pancakes. The spicy flavour was just right, not too hot for most palettes but will disappoint if you're after real burn.

Service was friendly, not much to fault. Doesn't have the same atmosphere as the city store but if you prefer a quieter location this would suit.
