Games Workshop / Warhammer reviews
15Owner is awesome, if you're after Warhammer this is a great place:) got started on 40k with 10th ed, picked up an Ad Mech combat patrol and did a learn to paint. Really helpful:)
Have been in twice now first time was with Ben working who was just amazing and welcoming and the second time I came in for advice on certain paint techniques and critique on my first ever painted model. Left with so much knowledge and was overwhelmed with how much help and patience Pippa gave me. What I thought was going to be a quick trip turned into an hour of great chats and a warm welcome to the hobby. Thanks for all the explaining I’ll be definitely coming in to hang/ paint and hopefully one day learn the game.
Really recommend coming here if ever you ever questioning if Warhammer is something you might be interested in or just want to meet cool people
Everytime I walked into a gamesworkshop I've had an opportunity to converse with a fellow gamer sitting behind the desk but not this time!? Sure he said hi when I walked in but that was it, was easily in the store for 20 minutes, not another word. Disappointed.
Super friendly and helpful staff. I look forward to checking out the store on a gaming day!
The store was nice with the person who helped me (Damion) incredibly helpful to someone who wanted to join the hobby.
It's a good store. Friendly staff, always willing to help and give advice to new players/collectors.
No point having business hours online saying that your store is open until 6pm on Saturdays only to find when I arrive at 2pm the store is closed.
Friendly staff, smaller in store stock that another local warhammer store but still able to order stock in for you like other stores.
I came in to buy monopoly for my grandson but the nice man explained that they only sell warhammers and that monopoly ruins families. He recommended I get a 'dark angel' pop vinyl and a box of 'sneaky snufflers' and my grandson loved them! I will definitely be doing my present shopping here from now on!
Its 40k, prepare to loose your life's savings. So beware hahaha. FOR THE EMPEROR! BURN HERETIC!
I'd give it zero stars but I can't. What is it with Games Workshop and having lazy working hours? I come at 1pm on a Thursday and they aren't open? No sign up about it either as to why and yes the other shops are guilty of this too!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fairly convenient location a short walk from Preston Station and bus connections. There's sometimes parking available on High Street, but you're more likely to find a spot on side streets nearby. Quite a few cafes nearby.
Great little shop, friendly staff willing to teach you the games. Lots of game nights and painting sessions if you want to get involved.
Very helpful staff and nice location. The range is a bit small but they can order anything in.
Full range of paints and some scenery extras. New release shelf and clearance shelves are definitely worth a look.
My boyfriend and I visit this store several times a month. Damien is always polite and friendly, always up for a chat, and super helpful. GW itself is a little pricy, but you get good quality and variety, so I can't complain too much.
