Great place for a coffee - so peaceful next to the water. Had a delicious breakfast last weekend.

A great cafe. Excellent breakfast, cheapest coffee in town and good hot coffee. Great service, sitting next to the marina

Great genuine service and wholesome food. The staff have done a really good job in maintaining and building upon the Galley Cafe legacy. I imagine a certain someone would be very proud.

Friendly Service, relaxing setting, and the food was delicious, coffee too.
Staying locally for a few days, very highly recommend walking over for a visit.

Set right on the marina, it's quite popular with the boaties and locals alike. Give it a try. Plenty of parking available too.

What a hidden gem. Thought I would try this for something different. Will definitely be back for a good feed. Well presented and not shy on serving size. Love it.

Went here for breakfast 3 weeks back. Had to wait 45 mins for our order, but we were informed of that when ordering, and it was due to Covid short-staffing, so we didn't mind. Worth the wait, as the food was great and the portions were huge! Would definitely return

Fantastic quiet location. When we arrived there was no one there so we took a seat. After about 15 mins we went in to see if we could get some service only to be told that we needed to come in to be seated. No apology for not noticing that their only customers had been waiting. Fortunately there's a cafe around the corner that is far more welcoming

Very slow service. Turn customers away as they are taking too long and then declare that they have run out of food

Been here a few times
Prime location
This time ordered eggs Benedict
Awesome chef … looked stunning
Eggs cooked perfectly
Our waitress was lovely
She was on her own, little stressed but had a beautiful persona and was attentive
Will be back …

The food here was delicious and the surroundings lovely but unfortunately the service was abysmal. The waitress was quite rude to the people ahead of us for no good reason and it took almost 30 minutes for them to bring us 2 glasses of wine and we were nearly finished our food. They did not appearing particularly busy but people seemed to be waiting for ages for food and attention. Overall very unprofessional service.

It was a beautiful breakfast. Amazing views. Windows are amazing to look at the boats through but desperately need a clean to remove the spider webs and dead flies. Well done. Condolences to the family for the loss of John. He will be dearly missed.

I had a relatively positive experience here regarding food and drink however the attitude given towards certain customers made it rather awkward for everyone. Judging from the reviews given on here, the staff pick and choose who they give their service and attention to. It’s a shame as it’s a fantastic location. Management need to step up and train their staff on the order of service as it was very confusing and lead to confrontations in front of all customers in the outside area. Average doesn’t cut it in these times.

A bit of a wait for our meals as being Sunday were very busy. Meals very nice and luvved their iced coffee! Nice environment outdoor dining area and the lass serving us very polite and helpful. Being locals ourselves preference is during the week as not so busy. Worth a visit for sure and we have returned several times.

Food is average here. Ordered the BLT but the bacon was overcooked. Menu is limited. Service is good.

Waited to take my order and despite a reminder never came back. Eventually I left. Service was atrocious.

Visited cafe today with a friend. Gorgeous surrounds just the right place to sit taking in the stunning view of the boats in the marina while enjoing fabulous cake and cuppa. Service was wonderful. Waitress was super friendly.

I’ve been to the Waterfront Cafe on several occasions, sometimes after enjoying a leisurely stroll along the foreshore, watching the pelicans as they glide and dive for fish, before settling down to a tasty cup of Joe.ahh, their caffeine always hits the spot. I’ve also had several meals, lunch and brunch, with friends. The fish + chips + side salad is lovely, the toasties are yummy, the milkshakes take you back to your childhood days. It’s an ideal spot to sit especially now with the incredible covered pergola that protects you from the searing sun rays, the bitter cold, the intermittent inclement forever changing weather that we, Melbournians, call normal. There are outdoor cafe blinds that don’t restrict the view. The best thing about the location is the views. Sitting there, watching yachts, boats & fishermen + fisherwomen or families come + go on their sea vessels, mostly feeling joyous from a good day out, with the occasional despondent Captain return without a catch of the day, to feed the family. There’s also the chance to dine indoors if you feel a need to escape the fresh air or if it’s too chilly for you. Bathroom facilities available, Sanitiser provider plus the standard CoVid19 check-in page to document your attendance as well as the ScanCode for the tech-savvy visitors

Ordered facacia’s for lunch, we waited for them only to be then told they no longer are doing focacia’s and we need to order something else. We then ordered a parma and a beef sandwich, we waited again only to be told that they dont have beef and can do a corn beef sandwich, I was ok with this so we waited again.we then got told that they cant so corn beef sandwiches Nd we will need to choose something else.i was reaching breaking point and nearly said “what can you bloody do instead of me ordering from your menu and being told 10min later you cant do it! ”. So I ordered a BLT sandwich.it came out and it was a piece of stale bread with 2 slices of tomato, 4 rashes of cold bacon and a lettuce leaf.it was terrible! We went to support local businesses but we wont be doing that ever again at this place! Maybe focus on making the basic foods great and be able to supply whats on the menu rather than trying to do spanakopita and leave that to the restaurants that can cook!
