Before working with Alfred and Gagement, I often found myself feeling so overwhelmed with the many operational elements of our business, exasperated by constant reactivity to problems and overwhelmed at what I perceived as a losing battle. Where does one start to engineer improvements let alone find the time between the daily routine of ‘putting out fires’?

Alfred somehow let me to the understand that most of the issues that were holding us back commercially were simply systemic and not random acts of fate or due to poor human performance. We were not setting our people or our people up for success. Every failure was actually a message that a process was either broken or often absesnt altogether.

Small process improvements started to yield results, and more importantly, free up time in our team’s daily workflow to notice more areas for improvements. The rewards come initially in the form of less stress and a feeling that things were getting much easier, but flow through in the form of decrease costs, higher productivity, less staff turnover, happier customers and most importantly higher ROI.

Since reading Alfred’s book, SPEED TO RESULTS, what felt like a war I was losing, now feels like a game I am winning, and running a business has become more of a hobby than a job.
