My daughter had her vw polo 2010 model go in for transmission repairs. She had been quoted by others $6000 to repair it. James told us that it was an issue regarding a recall from vw. He told us we could get it repaired at vw for free.

Had GS&M do a pre purchase inspection on a car I was looking at buying from a nearby used car dealer. They identified some mechanical issues with the car that would have cost a lot in the long run to rectify. Good customer service and reasonably priced too.

The reviews are true. Very decent to deal with and they warranty their work. Book ahead as they're often very busy so can be long booking times.

We moved down this way a couple of years ago, have had Grant and team service both our cars. He's a great bloke with integrity, there was an issue with our Honda that looked like requiring a lot of work. Grant rang after a few hours to say they found the problem, it wasn't as bad as first thought and it saved about $650 of his estimate. Many mechanics would have pocketed the full price and not been honest about the issue.

He does a great job, quick turnaround, and great prices. What more could you want.

I was very impressed with the degree of service and effort that Grant offered to solve a issue with a C6 automatic transmission on my concourse restored 1970 Shelby. The transmission was previously fully rebuilt by another company who was no longer in business. The transmission had never been used awaiting completion of the Shelby's restoration. Grant ended up having to remove and reinstall the transmission to solve the fault. Norm
