We have been back and will keep coming back. The food is always so well prepared and there's always something interesting to try. Staff are friendly and on the ball.

Exceptional service and food. Sorry I only just visited after years of this being on the ‘to go’ list. Set menu was a beautiful journey of flavours and is a real standout compared to other restaurants I’ve been to in Melbourne that offer similar.

Quite a good varieties of sake and nice cocktails.

We had omakase, the portion was generous. I'm not a big fan of the pumpkin agedashi, I prefer the silky tofu. If you love pumpkin, that might be something you like.
I sat at kitchen bar and saw the chef cooking other dishes making me wanted to go back for their slow roast duck that look really juicy.

From the bar and seating in the back, to the upper levels and even a rooftop patio! I highly recommend the feed me menu, as everything served was delightful. The Orion on tap and creative cocktails were also a standout. The tofu, pork, sando, and duck were all highlights for me, vegetarian options were amazing too.

The sake and cocktail varieties were both quite good. I would definitely go back, especially to try the slow roast duck! "

Went the for a function. Had the set menu. No idea if it's good value for money but it was delicious and filling.

This is the best gourmet meal I’ve eaten in years! We had the chefs special and plate after plate of exquisitely combined flavours came out until we were bursting. The best Japanese I’ve eaten in Melbourne. The space was casual and sweetly decorated,

There’s not many restaurants where the service matches the food. Future Future do both these things to perfection. Love this place. The food is amazing and the set menu is a great price.

Ambiance - can be quite noisy when it’s full.

I took my elderly mother here for dinner and she thought it was just fantastic. One of the nicest dinners to be eaten on swan st.

Futurw Future has only improved since my last visit in 2019.

Loved our time at Future Future. The Hibachi wagyu was absolutely delicious. Loved the grilled greens and the katsu sando. Great vibes! Easily accessible from the city via the 70 tram.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced for what you get. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that likes Japanese inspired food.

What a great experience! The interior decor and courtyard were both absolutely lovely, the service was great and the food was fantastic. The kingfish and chicken karaage were especially good. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Had such a lovely experience - the ambience was lovely and the staff were kind and inviting. Standouts from the menu were the ebi katsu sando and pumpkin tofu. I would definitely recommend to others who enjoy modern Japanese. Thanks team!

I like the vibe here and I reckon my table was the best spot in the room.
We ordered the chef set menu and added extra wagyu plate. The flavour was generally good but a bit more wasabi for me in each plate.
My fav was the tofu and the sando.

Future Future was a fantastic time. Great service and cocktails and the food was on a set menu but very well chosen; it was all delicious.

Fancy Japanese restaurant. Not authentic but tasty and good cocktails selection. You should make reservation.
