The fried rice actually uses glutinous rice. It should not be called fried rice, but fried rice in oil.too disgusting

It seems that the owner has changed, and all the waiters have also changed. The taste of the dishes can now only be said to be useless, not at the same level as before, and the portions are obviously smaller. The cold noodles used to be higher than the average in Melbourne, but now they feel that they are not worth it, and the beef in the cold noodles has a weird taste, which can’t be said to have changed the quality, but it’s not delicious. The service is also messy, ordering, serving and paying are all confusing. The waiters are also new faces. In short, the current Jipin is not recommended, but it can be eaten, but it is no longer as amazing and satisfying as before.

Spend $200+. Food was all right, standard level. However, the lady said they will accept cash only customer in the future. Efpos machine has some issues bla bla. They are not welcome customer paying by card. After long complaint, force us to pay the bill via EFT transfer to a bank account.

The food has always been great, with consistent quality and affordable prices.
One star is given because we ordered egg fried rice, but it was not served during the meal and we asked many times. After we added more dishes, the waiter said they were already cooking. After finishing the extra dishes, the manager-looking man said that the fried rice was not done and asked if he could have dumplings instead... It has been 1.5 hours since we started eating...
It’s understandable that you don’t have time to make a single copy, but making up a story is very confusing to others! No! Good!

Today, I went to eat with my husband and his friends. We went after 6 o'clock and booked a seat in advance. When we arrived, there were already many people in the store. After the boss arranged us to sit at an empty table, we scanned the QR code to order. I ordered some of almost everything, the food was served very quickly, and it was cold, there would be a heating plate on the table to keep the dishes on the plate to keep warm. The taste is delicious, but the taste is a bit heavy. I ate it with three friends for about $130. It is good and cheap. I will come here often in the future!

This barbecue restaurant is the one I found in Melbourne that I think can be ranked in the top three barbecue restaurants. What a pleasant surprise! Their prices are not expensive, the key is that the taste of the skewers is not bad, relatively authentic, which is really rare. You can have a bottle of beer and have a good chat with friends, but the tables are not big, and 4-5 people sit at a table at a time. I was very impressed with the speed of service. No matter how busy the place is, they are always able to deliver food quickly so I don't have to wait too long. Often the food is not served as quickly, which makes the whole dining experience smoother and more enjoyable. Most importantly, their roasted lamb kidneys are to die for! Not fat, not greasy, not burnt, not hard, it is a great pleasure for the mouth. Every bite was so full of tender, juicy goodness that I couldn't get enough of it. I can't resist the temptation of this delicious food, and I order a few skewers every time I go. This Northeast barbecue restaurant is really a good place to try. Cheap and affordable prices, fast and thoughtful service, and the obsessive roast lamb kidneys are a perfect combination. I have become their regular customer and highly recommend it to friends who love skewers. Definitely a great choice for a meal with friends. I sincerely hope they can maintain this level and look forward to seeing you again!

After the appointment time is up, you have to wait for more than 20 minutes if you don't have a seat. If you don't have a seat, don't make an appointment for the guests. I really hate this kind of unruly behavior. You let me wait in the car or stand in your crowded place on a cold day Waiting in the shop? You can just waste other people's time by saying sorry, I really want to ask how many sorry you say every day to perfuse customers!

It says closed at 9pm but no one answers phone since 8pm, bad service attitude from the reception and they close whenever they like. Don’t recommend.

I never wrote bad reviews for bad services I experienced because I understand waiters and waitresses may be very tired and sometimes even face fussy customers. But this time I had to come here to leave my comments because, at this restaurant, I saw the rudest staff member I‘ve ever seen in Australia.

When we got there yesterday (Saturday, 4 Mar. 2023) to order something to take away, there are one waiter and two waitresses behind the reception desk. The waitress in a black T-shirt gave us a good insight on what is the rudest server.

First, we asked her if they have one type of dish. I think she should know the answer because she should remember the menu to be a qualified waitress, especially when their dishes are not very diverse. But she immediately shouted to us, "Don't ask me! Look at the menu first! ". It's like a reprimand and I believe everyone in the restaurant could hear it. We were shocked and didn't know what happened. I even wondered if we had done something wrong. But we kept behaving politely and said yes.

Then I realised maybe they were busy (but actually they were not because all of the three waitstaff standing behind the counter and there were still vacant tables) and we'd better not stand in front of the counter. Then I asked her politely if we could have a checklist menu so we could tick all we want and hand it back to them to avoid taking up too much of their time. The rude black T-shirt waitress surprised me again. She shouted at us with a look of impatient: "No! Just told me what you want at one time after you think about it! ".

Now, it was a little bit awkward because I didn't know what we should do next. She shouted at me twice, which means maybe she was very busy. But if she was busy, she could let us sit at a vacant table to take our time to make a decision, instead let us stand in front of the counter to think over our dishes and block the way.

What we could do is look through the menu quickly and ordered something in a rush because we didn't want other customers to look at us. We felt very embarrassed although we knew it was not our fault. I believe many customers had noticed the rude waitress's behaviour.

But another strange thing happened. The menu shows lamb skewer's price is like $$/3 skewers. I didn't know how to express /3. Maybe it is a set, batch, group, or bunch, but I know what it means. So, I said, I'd like 15 lamb skewers. She asked: "5 groups? ". I then understood they say /3 skewers as a group. I said: "Yes, 15 skewers". I believed she had understood what I meant. But she asked again with deliberate contempt: "5 groups? ". I had to say once again: "Yes, please".

If 5 stars are the highest level of the review, I would like to give them -5 lowest level because this rude waitress ruined our night completely after we spent a lot of money there (by the way, please check their menu first before you go there because their prices are higher than others and the skewers are small.)

I went there several times before and I think the boss is good. We also had a chat before and I know he came from the northeast of China. I am just afraid that the awful service will damage their reputation and income. Normally, they would not have vacant tables before, but when I went there recently, there were usually several available tables.

Anyway, I came here to give them a one-star (I prefer -5 but there is no this option) review for their rude service for their polite customers.

This place is fantastic. Amazing value. Great food. Comfort food. Not for vegetarians, definitely not for vegans. Go only if you enjoy your meat. Spicy options definitely taste better, but they do offer everything without chilli (Why? Why would you do that?). Always busy, so the recommendation is to call and book ahead otherwise 9/10 you will be waiting a while (or turned away). The pork and enoki mushroom skewer is TO DIE FOR.

Favorites were chicken feet, 拉皮 and lamb skewers. The actual meat on the lamb skewers are the smaller type but very flavoursome. Overall pretty good and price is reasonable.

After going to more than 10 BBQ places, it deserves the No. 1 spot in terms of food quality, price and service! It's so damn hard to find a table here.

Guess how much are those cost? Yes $70+
It won’t be a rip off if they’re proper dishes.
The grilled lamb ribs packed with a small round container $7.98, the lamb skewers no bigger than your home chopsticks, we v ordered for 2 ppl, and we weren’t feeling full, each portion were very tiny, definitely not recommended if you d like a Chinese grill feast but food tastes good though.

Our favourite Chinese bbq place around the Blackburn or Box Hill area.
The restaurant itself is small and always full, but it is a perfect place for getting the skewers.

Nice food especially the skewers nice potion n good food, remember must book as they can be very very busy!

Why is the first question you get asked by the staff member: Have you eaten here before?

Came to the restaurant, asked for a table for two. Got asked if we've eaten here before. Said no. Two staff looked at each other and shook their heads. Then one of the staff asked if we booked. Said no. Then staff says we can't eat here because the tables are fully booked.

If we said yes to "have you eaten here before? ", would you have let us in and eat? If the venue requires bookings, the first thing your staff should really ask is whether we made a booking or not. It actually feels like we were denied entry because we haven't eaten there before.

Amazing service! However the dishes are a bit salty and oily for me, my stomach didn't feel well after having the meal.

Food was delicious, majority of the skewers were well above average.
The pork belly enoki mushrooms I rate 5/5, only thing we ordered 2nd servings.
Chicken wing skewers were perfect, just wished they were a bit spicier.
Excellent range of drinks, we had the osmanthus plum drink, chilled and not too sweet.
Wouldn't recommend the cumin mutton fried rice, although nice, was a bit soggy?
The staff were very patient, polite and quick to serve. Food came out quickly and well done.

I'm torn between a 4-4.5 rating overall.

Pretty tasty Chinese style BBQ. Service was very quick and friendly. Flavours are a little too sweet for my liking but still pretty good. Funnily the salad was the highlight of the night!
