Funtopia Cranbourne

We had such a wonderful time celebrating my son’s birthday. The staff we very friendly. Our party host Krystal was very organized. She knew exactly what to do, making our day more enjoyable and fun. Krystal had all the party tags and socks ready for our guests and was very proactive in getting things done without me having to ask her. The place was clean and staff were always willing to help when needed. The open plan party rooms meant it was easier for parents to keep an eye on the kids. The children had so much fun in the play area and on the car rides. Thank you for a very positive experience!

We came here for a birthday today and had a great time! It was not too busy and crazy as some other play centres we've been to and the staff were all very friendly and professional.

The food was great too! The portions were large, and everything tasted great. The french fries and nuggets were crispy, pizzas, sandwiches and wraps were all tasty as well and coffee was good too.

Out host, Tamanna was on top of everything and kept things moving along.

Lastly, the grippy socks are good quality and the bathrooms were clean!

Definitely a great place to bring the kids and take a break.

As parents of 3 boys, 2 with ADHD, one of which also on the spectrum and a toddler, there's not too many places we can go with the kids without worry. The messy play studio at Cranbourne Funtopia was absolutely amazing. First of all, it's gated, which means our 3yo with ASD and our toddler were safe. Secondly there was a wide range of wet, dry and mixed sensory play which was so fantastic for our 3yo who has sensory aversions and even better for our 1yo who loves all things messy. Everything was play safe from the paint, slime, playdough, beans etc a huge relief as our 1yo still mouths everything. The best part was not having to set up or clean up after the kids having a huge play. Typically our hyperactive 3yo plays with any sensory or messy play activity at hone for 4-5 mins making it not really worth the effort, but the huge range of activities available in this space kept him busy for over half an hour.
My personal favourite thing about this place was the fact that Funtopia have hired a diploma qualified early childhood educator who engaged the kids, extended on their play but also confidently interacted with the parents and care takers talking about the learning benefits. She also actively promoted what was coming up in the next few weeks in the space and let us know how great the coffee and food is at the Cafe.
She wasn't wrong either, the coffee was delicious and so was the muffin we ordered.
We will be back to check out the new setups regularly, if there's a messy play membership sign us up, we are so impressed at the value for money here.

Came in today with my 5 year old daughter for the first time. The vibe and atmosphere was really cool. Much better than what I’m use to seeing in play centres especially on a Monday morning. The place was decently filled which I think helped with the vibe.

The staff seemed a little caught out with how busy it was but I thought they handled it really well. So positive and all moved around promptly with big smiles on their faces.

Music was ace, food was ace, coffee was ace, staff were ace, cleanliness was better than I’ve seen at a playground. Could be because they are new still so let’s see what it’s like in 6 months. Daughter had a great time and the venue is large enough for the kids to have fun and stay out of trouble and small enough that I’m not worried where she is when she runs off into the playground.

I look forward to coming back more often.

Had my daughter's First birthday here in the messy studio. These guys did amazing they still just managed to just cater to the needs of my large family Highly recommended Nema and Hanna as your party hosts, the did an amazing.job!

Great value for money and fun for the kids. The food prices are a bit expensive but the kids portions are huge. Staff are very understanding of the mishaps that are associated with kids so when something gets spilt or balls go flying everywhere, they arent upset about it which is nice. A good place for a bit of adult downtime and for kids to have fun.

Took my 1 year old today. She loved it. The messy play was definitely her highlight. Danielle was amazing as well. The whole of funtopia is amazing as well. My husband and daughter could have played for hours.

The party went well. I was told the host would take care of the kids and play with them in the play area, but the 1 host and trainer spent the whole time in the party room talking and when asked if they would be with the kids, they said it would be hard for them to round up the kids. So we had to round up the kids. We had to get the parents to assist with grabbing the kids and bringing them back for the food and cake. I wasn’t happy about that. The food was brought out on time and good. The party host was not what we expected. I feel we could have hosted the party ourself.

We just celebrated Sophie’s birthday at Funtopia Cranbourne and honestly best play centre party experience! The service from our initial interactions with venue manager David and the support from the staff Tamanna was exceptional the kids were entertained and well looked after. The parents of all invited guests could enjoy as the hosts took care of everything and kept us informed of activities and the food was of great quality and value! Highly recommend Funtopia Cranbourne! We will be back that’s for sure. Thank you

Took my 2 year old to the Messy Studio this morning. She absolutely loved it.
It was a fantastic morning- letting her freely explore and get messy without the worry of destroying the house!
We will be back for future sessions with different themes!

Took my 5 and 3 year old for a play to the new funtopia. Couldn’t believe how good the food and coffee was for a play centre! The messy studio looked fun but i missed the sessions so will have to come again next time and see what it’s all about. Thanks for a fun day out!

Was hoping for a better outcome for this place. I had high hopes! Was told it’s by booking only at the counter and the lady that served me said “it’s ok, where not fully booked out yet but we will be soon”. There was like 5 other families and like maybe another 7 kids. Not that busy but I was able to get in with my 1.5 year old. The place looks good but the music was way to loud for a childrens play centre. The toddler area wasn’t really that interesting at all and some of the foam blocks were broken and my child almost ate the foam.
Then without knowing, i went over to the messy play area and was turned away because it was an extra $14! The woman at the front never informed me about this. I think we will stick to milestones.

What an amazing experience!
We celebrated all 3 of our kids birthdays (7,5 and 2 years old) together as they’re so close together! So we decided to hire out the venue for the night! Wow just wow the staff were amazing! Dave was so helpful with everything and catered to everyone’s needs! The girls on the night were absolutely amazing asked me everything before they did something to check all was good to go! They served their yummy food which they have such a huge selection to choose from! They cut up and served the cakes we brought in ourselves and if I needed anything they were right there!
I appreciated it so much! The food was amazing and all the kids plus the adults had such a fun time everyone is still talking about how good it was! Oh and also the playground and everything was sooo clean and so many different activities to do the kids didn’t want to leave!

Had an awesome time with my three year old twins. They loved the play equipment and the sensory messy play. I loved the vegan mexican bowl. Thank you for providing a safe environment for pre schoolers and catering for dietary needs. We will be back.
