Fuji Mart Melbourne reviews
40 Hands down one.of the best Japanese specialised grocery stores. It even sells fresh wasabi and Japanese facial and body products.
Keep an eye out for their monthly specials!
You can find a variety of Japanese food & products where they are really from Japan. You can sometimes find some Japan products are not made in Japan in other Asia markets. I will come back to this supermarket soon.
A very well stocked Japanese grocery has some household items such as kitchen utensils, stationery, dinnerware too. Handy as it is near the Prahran Market and a supermarket so you can your shopping together.
Great store for Japanese food supplies! Found almost everything I was looking for. Everybody is super kind and friendly. I have made it my go-to store for everything Japanese!
My only go to place for my Japanese staples, Japanese mochi, frozen food for Japanese hot pot etc. Larger selections as compared to other Asian Grocers. Reasonable prices. Clean & spacious.
这里很不错!可以买到少见的甜虾和鱿鱼刺身,服务人员非常有好,商品种类也齐全,就是位置有一点点偏僻,还看见有卖吞拿鱼大腹的,就是价格偏贵。It's nice here! You can buy rare sweet shrimp and squid sashimi, the service staff is very good, and there is variety of goods, but the location is a little remote, and you can see tuna toro for sale, but the price is expensive.
So cool to be able to buy these japanese staples in Melbourne. Some items reasonably priced too:)
Fuji Mart is a very well stocked Japanese grocer as all other reviews mention. One grocery staple I always opt for here as a coeliac is the gluten-free soba noodles made from 100% buckwheat flour. They have a few different brands, bit pricey as expected in comparison to the dominating non-gf soba available but still fantastic to have this stocked!
Great Japanese grocery store with massive amounts of food preparing ingredients and seasonings. You can get various Japanese snacks and frozen desserts from this store.
Recommended to go grocery there if you are really into Japanese food:)
Previously I found it a pleasant store but I think the current obsessive barely-polite bag checking is highly off-putting. Woolworths for instance has a by far more courteously-worded and conducted bag checking policy.
Great supermarket for Japanese groceries. I've been coming here for decades and it never disappoints. Japenese cuts of frozen meats for authentic recipe making along with a myriad variety of soy, miso and necessary Japenese condiments for all tastes. The alcohol selection is also fantastic with lots of imported versions of your favourite brews. There is even a strong selection of Japanese spirits
Great customer service. Varieties of Japanese products.close to station.near Pahran market.worth visiting if you look for Japanese groceries.
My favourite Japanese grocer in the area! I can find things here that I have difficulty finding elsewhere. Staff are always lovely as well!
A pretty solid Japanese grocery store for the area. Has a good range of food and drinks, plus some special household items. It's close to the Aldi so it's rather convenient to get to as well, if a bit hidden.
Great little piece of Japan, full of great imports, friendly staff, and one of the few places you can get that familiar Japanese food item you want to remind you of when you last visited Japan
Very thing you expect from Japan, clean, polite. Wide range of stuff to empty your wallet.esp sake
I enjoy exploring the various Japanese food ingredients. They have a good selection of sake too. Ask the friendly staff for recommendations if you're not sure where to start!
So far, this store has the most complete selection of Japanese cooking ingredients. As a regular, would definitely recommend anyone who are visiting Prahran Market should drop by to this place also.
There is a lot of variety and there are still some good and rare gems to be found here. The staff is also helpful and gets the work done quick. The prices though aren't the best as I have found better prices for similar products in Clayton.
