Belmont store as the Leopold store has closed. Good value, fresh produce when on a tight budget. Friendly helpful staff and always boxes available for carrying purchases.

Generally completive prices. Not sure about the attention to cleanliness / covid protocol. Been long time customer. Prices have increased noticeably of late. Surcharge for card payment reasonable.

Everything you'd want in a greengrocer - consistently good quality produce, extensive range, and decent prices. Very happy with my recent purchases and always have in the past as well.

Great bargains but know ya prices.

This is our go-to fruit and vegetable shop. Always a great selection available at great prices. They don't carry much in the way of unusual items, but the basics are always there.

Overall good quality. However. Open your eyes and look at what you pickup, some not so fresh stuff can be bought home if you are not observant.
I enjoy shopping here the staff are always friendly and the product range is vast.

We buy all our fruit and vegetables here and the prices are much better than the three major supermarts

You can buy everything thing for cheap here but you get the quality based on what you pay. You will understand what I mean by looking at these $1.49 Avo's.

Fresh it's not. I have shopped here from day one and it has really gone backwards in price and how long our vegetables stay fresh once we get them home. We've noticed a very strong smell as if it has been stored poorly.

4 star rating because prices of the goods are affordable but the place is not that clean or sanitary.

I also wanted to leave a note RE the 'high' EFTPOS surcharge some reviewers are mentioning. It's 0.72% as of the time of writing, which equated to 16c of a $22.92 order.

Much cheaper fruit and veg than the supermarkets, so defintley worth a weekly visit. $25-30 we get two full baskets of produce which lasts me and my wife a week or more. Good range as well, I like they dont sting you for simple things like lime or lemons.

Only issue is a lot of it isn't fresh and seems like it was the leftovers from somewhere else. Store is also pretty dirty, wash everything!

This place is a life changersince i moved to Geelong i was looking for a place that had literally every fruit or vegetable that i need and no kidding, the moment i walked into this place, i was pleased. Everything is affordable and they have almost every fruit or vegetable you could ever want. Fruit Shack is a good place

Cheap, plentiful and full of excellent quality fruit and veg. At least half the price of a supermarket shop. What more do you need?

Always the best prices in town. Fruit/veg quality and size can be a bit inconsistent but anyone who shops here knows this and accepts it. The savings make up for it. So does the fact the produce tends to be riper and ready to enjoy more than the big grocery stores.

Good value, although every time I go they seem to have changed the queuing rules without anything remotely resembling comprehensible signage. Old school green grocer - you need to do your own QC.
