Friday's Camp Ground reviews
17Tidy, good drop toilet. Level tent sites done areas with roots but easy to work around. Good fire pits. Plenty of parking
There are few people, it’s quiet, there’s a fire place, and the mobile phone network signal is very good
Went on a week night with a couple of friends only 1 other group was there, roads were in fairly good condition even after all the rain, 2WD accessible, clean toilets and fire pit on each site. BYO firewood, mozzies were hungry and about the size of jumbo jets.
Good camping site but need to book at first, easy access to any vehicle. Toilets and water facilities but except drinking, easy to find woods.
Cheers
Very nice place to stay, running rain water, well kept grounds and drop toilet. Kangaroos and assortment of wild birds. Worth the money.
Nice campground just a short distance from Melbourne. Only two sites for camper trailers and or caravans and the rest is for tents. Drop toilets fire pits and lots of wild life and if your lucky you may even see a Koala or two
The campsite is good to spend some time with the family and going for a nice hike and also building fire and the whole place is rly good.
Great camping ground for all. Families, couples, friends and mates.
Some shared camp fire pits but seperate tables to prepare meals and sit and eat meals.
Drop toilets away from campsites. Lots of walking tracks if you want to hike. Or just sit amongst nature.
Mountain bike or gravel bikes also a good option.
Space for tents. Good ground for pegs. Toilet. Tank water. Picnic tables and good camp fires. Can get cold overnight but BYO a good sleeping bag and some firewood. Don't forget to book a space online. Great for a multi family camping expedition.
Great campground with drop toilet and firepits. Road to campground is very narrow for two cars, but a beautiful spot and super close to Geelong.
Reasonably flat and not too rocky with a wide open space, great campfire spots and a reasonable drop toilet with rainwater. It is a pretty good camping experience.
Nice and close to melb city. Easy place to stay esp for families. It can get VERY windy here. No drinking water. Only about 10 sites. I took photos of the sites because I couldn't find a site map. Hope this helps
Lovely, quiet, not too full of other people. Out of the way enough (around 10km to nearest shops) to feel isolated but close enough to get lunch. Would recommend.
Stopped in for a bbq.
Very well maintained and surprisingly not many insects on a hot day. Nice green grass, tables & chairs and fire pits.
Easy drive in with our van coming from Ballan Rd.
Gr8 camping area for tents and 2 camp trailer spots. No caravans allowed overnight.
Was just wondering how do you make a booking for this campsite as there is no phone number listed
Booking required campsite.
You can book online. Nice and peaceful campground with only 10 spots available. There are fire pits and a long drop toilet
I rate it 5 stars based on location and walking tracks it has history beautiful spot lovely walking tracks and hiking area gets very Rocky. Best to camp when it's not school holidays so you can enjoy the nature and bird life:).
