Fresh Mint reviews
18 Absolutely delicious! Tried the lemongrass beef, bbq chicken and pork belly Banh MI’s. All were fresh and flavourful! (Lemongrass beef my personal favourite)
Wish the opening hours were longer but other than that, the best Banh Mi in Bendigo!
Pork Banh mi were beautiful and fresh rolls
Spring rolls fried oily and very little in them, fresh but not great
Chicken summer roll had way to much lettuce.
Would go back for the banh mi.
My husband and I recently purchased ice coffees, banh mi rolls and rice paper rolls from here for our lunch, which we ate elsewhere.
The first couple of bites from my banh mi, were wonderful! UNTIL I noticed a thick grey hair of approximately an inch in length. Upon inspection of the remainder of the roll, it was discovered to be littered with more and more grey hairs. Even writing this review is making me feel sick to my stomach
My husband noticed nothing in his food. But needless to say, we will never be eating here again.
HAIR NETS!
Food was reasonable, although somewhat limited menu options. Outside dining available, but mostly takeaway options.
Every bánh mì we've had has been awesome but we just wished it had a little more flavour, or spice, or both. Tasty overall and brilliant texture, packed with veggies. Awesome staff. Ordered close to closing once and received a complementary rice paper roll and a couple of fried dim sims. Love the vibe, and pretty great pricing.
Delicious Pow, you can taste the spices. I love chilli and I put the whole tub in. Wow.
For those people with a softer pallet, take it gently.
Will be back to try some more good food.
The owners are very polite and friendly.
The pho taste terrible, the beef was too chewy and coffee taste like medicine. It’s pricey for such small portion and not even good. Not recommended at all.
The pho had a distinctive fragrance that we have not found at other restaurants. It was full of flavor and was quite filling. The only grumble was there was not a lot of meat in the pho (this may have been due to the late time of day when we were there and there may not have been a lot of meat left).
For what the Chicken Pho I had was, it was delicious, although I don't think I'll be having it again. Got it takeaway and the bloke brought it out to me in a bag, most would just call and hand it over the counter.
Amazing food! Great prices and excellent customer service with a smile
The Pho’ is the best I’ve tasted in any restaurant
Definitely recommend visiting here if you love fresh food that promises to leave a smile on your face at the same time knowing that you aren’t packing in the calories, so light and fresh
Sick of boring lunches? This is a great takeaway lunch option in a somewhat unlikely locale (ie. The dying Bendigo Mall) Takeaway probably the best option if you work in the area or I suggest you take the short walk down to the Rosie Park to eat. You can sit inside or out too. Fresh and authentic Vietnamese fare. Limited menu but super tasty - try the pho or the vermicelli salad with a variety of meats or veg options. Rice paper rolls are great. Chicken curry too. If you haven't tried Vietnamese then this is a great place to start. If you have and like it then go here. Hopefully it goes well for the owners and they can open a fully fledged restaurant soon!
Authentic, delicious Vietnamese from the unassuming, small but amazingly friendly cafe. A real asset to the Bendigo dining scene.
Amazing Vietnamese food, the roast pork bahn mi, rare beef pho and chicken lemongrass curry get a special mention!
Great banh mi and rice paper roll. The skin on the roast pork had a good crackle. We did not realise they had actually closed but they stayed open to serve us on a Saturday
Lots of flavour. Wasn't expecting much because there isn't a lot of food competition in the area but the food and bubble tea were good. The bubble tea I think even had some real fruit ingredients because it had a pulpy cloudiness.
Pretty bloody good. New owners get a big thumbs up for me. And a great market, as I'm not sure of anywhere else to get Viet food, or bubble tea. Keep up the good work ladies <3
I go here for lunch once a week as I bring my lunch to work each day except for one day in the week where I let myself have a great, and with all the food choices around the CBD I always find myself there. The veitemese salad is a must, and if your looking for a more 'on the go' meal then the rice paper rolls are just as delicious. One of the best places in Bendigo at the moment, you can tell from the line each day! And even with this line you don't have to wait more than 5 mins
Fresh Vietnamese food. I recently moved to Bendigo from Melbourne, there are many great Vietnamese eats in Melbourne, I did not expect much here. But this little cafe has surprised me. Super refreshing salad with tasty BBQ chicken. Generous portion and fantastic services. Only one little thing is it’s too busy during lunch time. Some popular options are sold out. Suggest the owner to prepare more food to feed hungry customers! Love it!
