Just had Hertz amp, JVC sub and Focal speaker upgrade in my MR Triton. Michael sorted it all for me incl.pick up and return. Best part is it sounds awesome! Great service, products and price.

I phoned Freeway Car Audio on Tuesday to get advise on upgrading a stereo in my daughter's car. Michael provided expert information and three options within a few minutes of receiving pictures of the dash. Phoned up to book in and even though they were busy, they picked up the car, installed the stereo and dropped the car off all within a couple of hours the very next day. Pricing was good, the work was excellent and the service was way above and beyond. Highly recommended.

Great service from the owner Steve, who went the extra mile to pick up my car from where it had broken down, remove an old aftermarket cruise control that was triggering an engine warning light and limp mode, and fit a new system. Car and cruise system are now operating perfectly. Big thanks to Steve for helping out by collecting the car from the Toyota dealer that diagnosed the engine fault.

The price sounds easy to the ears, Steve is of sound mind, the service offers sound quality, what more can I say, but to sound the trumpet at Freeway Car Audio whose expertise made my daughter's car sound fantastic. My only concern is my daughter has not come home, the music must be sounding great.grin.

Michael and Steve were fantastic. Recommended a Kenwood CarPlay unit, and installed it with car phone fittings reversing, camera etc so it all just worked perfectly. Workmanship and professionalism. Had a small issue with radio reception (due to vehicle’s OE antenna) and the guys worked so hard to establish the issue and correct it. Reception amazing now (getting 3AW in Gunbower!). Highly recommend these guys. They know the technology and know exactly how to install it so it looks just right.

Overall they are great at what they do. Installation they did great. However one issue I would like to address, before sending someone to take your car from your work place to get stereo installed i would highly recommend they know how to drive a manual as a result my car at the moment smells like it is burnt as a result of the clutch being burnt.

Amazing service by the team at freeway car audio, dandenong. Michael gave some great advice on installation options and the finished product was even better as I couldn’t even find where the amplifier was installed. Prices provided were the most competitive in the market and so were installation costs. Uber 5 star service with regular follow ups before and during the installation of the sound system.

Thank you to Steve and the Team for the hospitality. I have been using Freeway about 10 years now. I would not take my vehicles anywhere when it comes to Alpines. They took great care with my Lotus as they have always done with my other cars. Here's to another 10!

Not exactly on the cheap side however technicians know their products. Perfect choice of gear as they stock only the best (Rockford & Fosgate, Focal & Alpine PERIOD). Got my Alpine deck installed P E R F E C T L Y and quickly.

Don't know if this can be used because it relates to an issue 3 or so years ago I think. I purchased and had fitted a Bluetooth unit which for reasons not under the control of Freeway became problematic. After they were not able to resolve the issue I went to another vendor where I purchased an amplifier and speakers not sold by freeway. When I returned to Freeway for reasons to do with warranty the man I believe to be in charge (owner) said I should go to the other vendor as I had purchased the speakers and amplifier elsewhere. I gave 2 stars not 1 because the salesman I had been dealing with was in fact a gentleman and tried to assist. But he was just an employee at that point.

Thank you for your response. Our version of the facts seem to be quite different to the relation to the problematic rear view camera. Yes, you did state that the poor rear light camera performance was caused by the low level of lighting from the reversing lights. However, i made it very clear to you, time and time again that this problem existed from day one, even in the day time. I also advised to you that there was no point adding extra light when this was problem existed in a brightly lit driveway. As i have mentioned before, the vehicle was brought in 5 to 6 times where seemingly meaningless adjustments were made. I contacted Alpine electronics in frustration but they promptly advised me that the vehicle was fitted with a non genuine Alpine camera. This has obviously forced you on my next visit to change the camera from the generic cheaper model that you should not have installed in the first place. You did not do me any favours when you installed a genuine camera after in order to get the unit to work. The camera to this day continues to have poor performance. On one occasion the camera failed completely, causing me to take it back to you yet again, where i was informed that one of the plugs had slipped out (LOL). 2) The other issue, right from day one, was the extremely poor FM reception. I immediately reported this to you, not 3 weeks later as stated in your response. I did mention this and you initially blamed the antennae. This was supposed to be changed at my cost at some point, but never happened. You then blamed the vehicle for the so called poor FM reception but i never had a problem in the past with my Toyota head unit. Your so called explanation about this Alpine unit being more sensitive makes no sense. Why you didn't change the antennae on one of these numerous visits is beyond me. Before you make comments like ''i think the truth is somewhat selective" when you write reviews - i strongly suggest you consult your documentation, if you actually keep any. I am glad i have the opportunity to vent my frustrations about your poor service and the poor service of Alpine, particularly when it comes to supporting their so called approved installers. I have ask Alpine to appoint an independent installer to review the situation, perhaps someone more capable of sorting out this mess. For others' reference, the model in question is the Advanced Navi Station INE W960A
