Can't praise Michael and his staff enough. I was referred by a friend to Michael, I did have my doubts as I hadn't been able to find any effective treatment for my back and knee since Melbourne's first lock down in August 2020. However the whole experience was excellent, from my first phone call to book an appointment, Freedom staff were professional and helpful. My first consult was excellent, Michael listened to me babble on but was able to pinpoint the underlying issues straight away, he got straight into some effective treatment. I've had 4 consults and my body hasn't felt so good for over 18months. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Michael about 4 years ago due to severe neck pain and headaches from work and I’ve been consistently happy with every treatment since. He is very educated, committed, professional and confident with his work. Just one session makes a huge difference every time. I highly commend Michael as a physiotherapist.

After feeling sharp pain in my lower back for no apparent reason whilst body surfing in Scotts Head on my way down from Brisbane to Melbourne for a Christmas family function and barely being able walk the next day I felt my holiday was in jeopardy so I went to Newcastle Hospital Emergency who diagnosed it as unspecified lower back pain gave me painkillers an. The painkillles eased the pain but walking was a challenge as I was hunched over and felt like one leg was a foot longer than the other.

After driving to Melbourne and the condition not improving I found Micheal practice was close by and booked an appointme. His intiial consultation was thorugh and after diagnosing a bulged disc which he treated with acupuncture and some dlicate physio manipulation I felt a significant improvement after the first treatment.

Michael manage to squeeze me in for 3 treaments befgore the Christmas and I was moving with ease and by New Years Eve i was moving like nothing had happened. Michael gave me a plan to help get follow until I got home to prevent and relapse and even did some research to find me a Physio in Brisbane who also did acupunture.

I really believed the acupuncture played a signicant part in my speedy recovery becuase when I was driving and I lifted my foot of the accelerator I felt a sharp pain go rise through my leg and go straight to my lower back that I can only describe as an electric currents that started run from all the way up my leg then sudddenly stopping at my lower back with a sharp pain. During the acupuncture treatment i could feel the tension this created start to ease.

Freedom Physio is exactly what its name says freedom. Freedom of pain that I never thought would go. I went terrified needles but in extreme pain so was willing to try anything. Wasn't give a miracle story was told the truth. My treatment would take time and it did. Thank you Michael.

Was recommended to see Michael by a number of people at work and was not disappointed. Had trouble with sciatica down one side of the body and the combination of physio and acupuncture gave me immediate relief. I began seeing Michael in June 2018 after suffering with jaw/tooth and headache problems for 5 months which were unable to be resolved by a dentist, periodontist, my GP or a neurologist. Chronic neck issues are at the base of my problems. After a few intense weeks of manipulation, acupuncture and neck exercises progress was being felt. I am now mostly pain and headache free.
