Frankston Regional Foreshore Playground

Great kids playground & right next to the beach!
If you live in the Frankston area you can get a foreshore parking permit and park here for free

Fantastic playground, there is no shade over the playground so on really hot days the slides are too hot to slide on and the round about too hot to sit on. Swings are shaded.

The park is beautiful and short cut to the beach from the park is what makes it convenient to the families to even enjoy the beach more.

Excellent Playground for most ages with some disability friendly equipment/ramps. Parking is prepay with LGA permits allowed free. Could use some more very young age playthings as my 2yo gs struggled a little on his own.

Amazing playground! Spacious, good for all ages. Kick a footy, play in the sand pit, cook a snag on the BBQ.

Great park for the kids with lots of equipment to play on. There is also a Cafe and beach close by, so good for a day out with the famaly.

Everyday I'm reminded of the wonderous beauty that is the Frankston foreshore, we share one of Australia's most beautiful places, where people connect to the sea and the land, please treat with care, pride & passion.

Nice and cool place for kids to enjoy would have been better if there was lights pole after dark.

The play area is large and open, a few metres from the beach with plenty of parking available. The down side is not many shaded areas to sit down. You have to get there early to get a good spot in the shade on a very hot day.

Over crowded. Teenagers hangout and are pretty feral.
Would very good if it was limited to certain amount of people.

A beautiful park with BBQ and toilet facilities. It is within walking distance to Sophias Restaurant and ice cream bar and Frankston pier.

Very good place. There are all things what you need. The family could spend a lot of time on the playground. You could find free parking in about 300 m in any direction.

Nice clean place to spend family days. Got fences around so children are safer to roam around and play. Peace of mind for the family too as it is close to the road. Lots of obstacles, swings for children to play. And the fact that it is close to the beach is great!

Great safe park for kids, only down side is the cost of parking, $3.60 an hour, even if you park on the Hwy. However if you park on the opposite side going towards Mornington, no fees for parking
I had to drop my wife and grandson off. Drive up and do you turn so I could use the free parking side. Mums and dads on their own really can't do that, the Frankston council should be ashamed of this, a great facility spoilt by hefty parking charges that target families, it should be free.

Sometimes you forget how nice local places are. Fun playground for the kids and a run along the beach. Cafe and toilets. Nice outing. I'd certainly take visitors there.

Not much to say other then had a really great day out with the kids thay both had big happy smiles but I well say actually must be a good work out as both was happy to see the car to go home after ay lol

This park is great because it has so much playground equipment. It is especially fun to play on the large wooden deck with lots of equipment. I find the long mesh walkway very interesting. Also, the wooden rides are very stylish. I haven't seen them in other parks, but they are very nice playground equipment. This park has BBQ facilities, restrooms, parking lots, and benches. There is also a pathway leading to the beach. It is a very beautiful and fun park.

Clean with great amenities, bbq, playgrounds, boardwalks.pier.boat launch.the bay, what more do you want?
