Frankston & District Basketball Association reviews
36They need to have upgraded the facilities before the car park. The bathrooms are beyond disgusting
Good venue but requires more disabled car parking areas. We had to park quite a distance away.
Cant wait for the upgrades to start, it's pretty run down but the amount of kids basketball teams that are in this league is awesome
I now need to make a comment about the canteen. The hygiene is not in question. My problem is that they do not take cash, only card, making it difficult for parents, whose children require refreshments and water bottles because they left theirs at home.
Staff lovely.
On the positive side, I love that they have a great Coffee Van at stadium and that the proprietor will take cash or card.
This comment is some months later than the above comments.
No longer the coffee van sadly, coffee now available inside, but often takes a while, they need to look at upgrading to a better facility for hot drinks. But the staff are ALWAYS helpful and smiling, and make great coffee, sandwiches and love their sealed biscuits.
Also the outside of stadium looks so much better now, so keep up the good work everyone.
I love the Frankston Blues.and am usually at the stadium weekly.
These are some of the only kid sized hoops around that are outside and easy access in the are that I know about! We also do classes here and both my kids love it.
Very good watch the under 8 gran final it will be fantastic when we get our new basketball stadium as it is very tired looking and not big enough for the amount of people who go there
I really like it there and I used to play my school basketball there before it got moved to Casey
Needs an update but fantastic place for anyone who loves basketball to go down and watch great actioned adult games & for kids in teams, they have great Refs that give guidance when calling anything. They have little junior sessions throughout the year as well
Home games are blatantly favoured by their umpires, not even kidding. Be aware when playing here, there is a particular older lady umpire who will happily favour any Frankston Blues teams and not even try to hide it. Disgraceful organisation for going along with it. Our highest foul count for any game previous was 9, this game we received 25 (over 20 games played in tournaments and regular season games). The home teams total fouls was 8. That is an 8-25 foul difference and it still barely tells the story of the favouritism and absolute cheating that went on here.
Very gloomy lighting
They also use dark one colour balls, making the poor lighting worse
Needs more lighting on court and some new white + orange balls

Would also like to see the paths to and from the entrance and exit to be cleaned up regularly (daily).
Totally Rocks! Unbelievable size courts
Lots fun & free. Go down and have some fun best time is after 3pm but b4 games start 5-6pmect
Great basketball stadium with 6 courts. Only weakness is that while there is a small kiosk with some food and drinks suitable for kids and youth, there is no coffee, muffins and the like suitable for adults.
Yes it's great and full of hustle and bustle when allowed to play. Toilets could use a little update though but a very valuable place.
The staff and referees are very nice. The service provided is always good. Courts are maintained well. Great local indoor basketball stadium.
Great basketball stadium with 6 courts. Only weakness is that while there is a small kiosk with some food and drinks suitable for kids and youth, there is no coffee, muffins and the like suitable for adults. We used to be able to get this type of refreshments there, but not anymore since about 2 years ago. Please bring it back!
Great facilities, plenty of courts. Referees are typically good which makes playing here enjoyable.
Great family oriented sporting complex. Catering for every level of player or team from the ages of 6 to 70+ years old. Well managed, clean and safe for the local community. A Frankston icon for 40 years plus.
Covid test was quick, efficient and the staff very friendly and professional. Happy to go through their facility again.if need be.
Trying to make a complaint about the conduct of the stadium employees- namely ref management is a huge wate of time!
