Franks Supermarket reviews
26Great mini continental supermarket and deli that sells anything and everything. Love the sliced meats from the deli, gelato from the freezer and panettone when in season. They also sell grog and fresh bread/pasta. One stop shop
My favourite deli, everything freshly sliced, great prices, beautiful staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Good range of Italian produce, great specials. They really could improve the register area, not enough bench space.
Went in there today. As soon as I walked in, there was a very stinky smell. It was all through the shop. Not sure what it was but they need to do something about it. Alot of items were over priced, even the items which were over the Best Befote Date. SERIOUSLY! I do not recommend this supermarket at all!
Huge selection of goods staff assistance average most lines over priced can purchase cheaper at most other supermarkets will not waste my time or fuel going back be good if you live local with no other choice
What a surprise.
If you haven't been here, it's a must.
Full of lots of little delights just waiting to be found.
The deli at Frank's is awesome! I drive for miles for their pecorino and other cheeses, prosciutto and olives.
Love Franks Supermarket.love all the authentic Italian produce! Beats Coles, Woolies and even Aldi hands down! Don't ever close please
Old school supermarket snd deli. Not a small as it looks. Plenty of variety and lots of specials. Some stock items that you won’t find in Coles or Woolies.
Great variety of Italian goodies.
A gem of food, sweets, treats and European groceries. They also have amazing gluten free panatone during Christmas.
This awesome European supermarket is the best, the deli meats are so fresh & heaps cheaper than the big supermarkets.
Love the vibe in here.oh also, the best bunches of flowers so much cheaper than regular florist.
Convenient local shopping, especially for items of Italian origin, straight from Italy. A taste of Italy awaits you there, from shelved items to the friendly staff at the deli counter. The small family owned restaurant, two doors down 'Pizza 500' is also a 'must try' experience.
Finding it hard to change the the wrong 2 star to a 5 star
Great place great selection great prices and great staff
Has a little of everything. Catering for the European mainly Italian community.prices are cheaper than Coles or Woolworths, but still high enough for someone supporting the local community.
This review is not related to the quality of food but instead the quality of customer service.
I am appalled at the way i was spoken to by the arrogant younger italian man at the register who insisted one could only buy 3 boxes of passata per person per day.
I would accept that however only yesterday my aunt purchased 9 boxes and she was on her own.
I explained this to the gentleman behind the counter and he insisted l was wrong. I explained to him rules need to be adheared to by all, no favours for the cumares and he was very passive agressive.
Never have i been spoken to in such a manner and if i didnt need to buy the passata for my mum i would have thrown all 5 boxes at him.
Rude, Rude, Rude.
Hell will have to freeze before i ever step foot in there again.
If i did my job as well as he i would be out of a job!
I am appalled, disgusted and to be frankly honest still shocked.
Still looks like those grocery shops from the sixties. I love it. Doesn't look like every other supermarket. Many hard to get items available here. If your sick of the psychological warfare from the big chains you'll love this place.
Has all you need for your home deli, laundry and bathroom items, food, deli, fruit vegies, bread gotta be quick for that, wines, even a florist. Its a hidden gem.
Good little Italian supermarket. Heaps of pastas and sauces and lots of imported goods. Great deli and very cheap.
This is a fantastic deli and supermarket! Excellent wines, meats, cheeses, pastas, oils and sauces and vegetables. There is a strong community and family feeling in this store which is charming. Friendly and authentic, and good value!
It’s like stepping back in time. Mil - Lel Pecorino Romano never more than $18 a kilo which is unreal. Good small goods too. I don’t get there often but when I do it’s great to stock up.
