Foxes Den - Elwood reviews
34Nice food but extremely overpriced. Millennial heaven for those that complain they can’t afford a house but amazingly seem to find money for places like this while looking into their expensive phones.
Chloe at Foxes Den was amazing helping us cater our event. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. We have used Foxes Den for two events now and highly recommend!
First time here, I love the flavours and nourishing plant based ingredients. I felt amazing after a meal here. I will be coming back to order a few of the $26.90 catering salad bowels for events.
The most succulent, juicy and delicious free range chicken.
Also had roast veg salad and Mexican quinioa salad which were the perfect sides.
Highly recommend and will definitely be going back
Overall very exspenisve and dissapointing. The amount of food for the price is ridiculous. This is $6 worth of chips.
Tasty menu. Better for takeaway as there’s minimal seating. Not a salad lover myself so it was a pleasant surprise.
Prices have increased and serving sizes have decreased. Very disappointing. Foxes Den has really gone done hill recently.
Just encountered the most awful, sarcastic customer service from a young red head girl.made me want to walk out but didn’t want the revenue of this place (which i have always enjoyed) to be affected by her rudeness.damped the whole experience and left me feeling very resentful.such a shame.
Used to love this place, disappointed that they have removed a lot of their chicken salad rolls off the menu.
Got the southwest chicken and 3 salads, everything was delicious and the staff were really nice. Highly recommend!
Aight look ima be real here, dis food was actually decent.i am not vegan but wallah on god this food tasted like real meet it was amzing, me and my boys quaye, kofi and esteban loved it here and will be sure to return very soon thanks guys for the amazing tasting food
Usually a good quality food. Today I found chicken meet chewie and plain. I let know the staff but has been told that the food is same as everyday. I have my mouth with me everyday as well and capable to distinguish difference in the meet texture. Unfortunately normal nowadays I don't care service.
Terrible experience. I ordered a hot chicken roll with gravy. The sauce was gluggy and tasteless.the chicken was essentially skin and fat and very little meat. The worst part is that it had thick hair in the mix. It was repulsive. Please stay away from this place.
I have delayed in writing up a review but after several incidents I have decided to share in the hope they improve. Foxes Den used to be amazing, but it has really gone down hill in the past few months. Examples are as follows.
1.ordered a type of salad, waited outside (due to covid resrictions) got home and it wasn't the salad I ordered.
2.another time, ordered a half SW chicken, waited outside while they made up my order, when I got home it was a plain chicken.
3.placed my order before pilates to pick up aftwards. 45 mins later I stopped in to collected and was told they no longer had what I order.
4.ordered sweet potato chips (quality has changed/gone down in the product they are using) half the order was burned.small sauce was $2.50 (price of sauces wasn't posted anyware), most places charge. 50 to $1.00 for the same amount.
I hope they take the time to review and improve as they used to be such an amazing place
Very disappointed with one of the assistants lack of care filling the salad container. It was barely filled to the half way mark. Im on minimum wage and when you pay $8 for a tiny salad you expect the container to be filled properly. Apart from that the chicken and chips are good
Really disappointed. I went in today around 12: 25-12: 30.
I am waiting to be served and the two people working there are talking. I am waiting. A man walks in. The person working there of the two went straight to him and served him. I am not sure if you have an issue with me. But to go and serve that person straight away and still keep me waiting. Disgusting, absolutely disgusting. I never leave reviews for places. But hey I am a human also and I just wanted some food. You have left a bad taste for me and I will never come back again.
Love the food, but they've always run out of stuff, even early in the day. It's hard to get the Moroccan chicken and even the roast veggies. I find the Port Melbourne branch will more often have what I want.
Been coming here for years and absolutely love the salads and usually order these for work functions. However i was in a hurry today and ordered a chicken and gravy roll. What i was given was a hotdog bun full of what looked like vomit and had no flavour whatsover. What a dissapointment. How can you sell that for $10.50? If i had time id have come back for a refund. Very dissapionted id expect that kind of poor quality from McDonalds or Red Rooster.
Might be going elsewhere from now on.
Thanks Foxes Den for the very delicious half chicken (that you kindly split into 2 for hubby and I), tasty hot chips and delightful roasted turmeric cauliflower salad! Thank you for also checking that the salad was dairy and soy free as per my needs today. We enjoyed the chips so much that we got a second serve and ate them walking around the local park. It clearly is a popular place as we saw lots of people stopping by for takeaway food as well!
Schnitzel roll was absolutely elite! Best I've had in a long time. Chips were nice too but a bit expensive for the portion size
