Terrible unprofessional job! Worst shellac I ever had. Service was so rushed and uneven painting. Damaged my nails when removing my old shellacs. Be aware of this and do not go this place. I've found same complaints of mine through reviews. Most of the staff are so rude. Not pleasant experience at all.

The staff did a wonderful job, just like I asked for in the reference photo. They’re all so lovely and accomodating. Definitely will come back.

Terrible service and extremely poor job of doing my shellac and manicure. I just literally walked out of the nail salon and I thought to give this timely review and warn others.
An older lady did my nails and was so rude to my request (which was only a shellac and manicure to my fingernails and shellac to my toe nails). I had originally asked for a white colour but then changed my mind whilst she was removing my old shellac on the fingernails. She became annoyed at this and she started saying some words to the other ladies in Vietnamese and they laughed.

This same lady was also rough as she was in such a hurry (I thought to give her the benefit of the doubt that she would be very experienced and refrained from requesting for her to slow down) that when she was doing my cuticles- she cut me! I flinched and said "Ouch! ", then I started to bleed. She didn't even apologise. Later on, she started to blame me for some of the fluff and bumps that got onto my new shellaced nails after I removed it from that shellac drying machine! I said that it was the fluffy towel that she has placed under my hands that's causing this but she argues that it was my jumper! Wth?

Oh it gets even better.the top coat she did on my fingernails did not even fully cover the area so I asked if she could just add a bit to cover some of the patches. Once again, she does a rushed job, places my hands in the machine to get them dry, only applies cuticle oils to my right hand only until I told her she forgot to do the other side. AND she left me to grab their moisturising cream for my feet. This individual projected her extremely miserable personality onto me. She barely said a word the entire time! I've never been to this nail salon before and I only live down the road. I will never come back to this salon again and nor recommend anyone to go there.

The manicure was rushed, heavy handed with the skin around my nails cut and ripped. The SNS application was messy, uneven and dinted. My fingers feel sore and look it. I felt embarrassed about the poor job because ladies are always nice. I paid $90 and left feeling sad: - (

I’ve been here many times and my experiences has been incredible from the beginning. I’ve experienced friendly customer service and was really pleased with the results from tanning, body waxing and pedicures. I would definitely come back.

I came to Fox and Boi and totally loved the service provided this first time. I was attended by the boss of the place who is a lovely person.

However, on my second time I wasn’t that lucky. A girl with short black hair got my nails done. In the process she was VERY rude when answering my questions or simply asking me to do something (move my feet or hands). Sometimes there was not even communication and she would just make a gesture, which is a bit disappointing coming from someone working with people every day.

But that’s not even relevant compared to this. She cut my finger when cleaning my cuticles! My finger was bleeding, and she would not even say sorry until I said myself that it was bleeding. Not having enough, she forgot (God knows how) of what she had done and made my finger bleed again when using other devices. All in all she hurt my finger three times! Unacceptable. “I’m very sorry for this”, she said the very last time. Oh yeah you should be because this is all but a professional service.

One day later my finger still hurts when grabbing things or using my hands. Who knew that I would go to get my nails done and I would come back home also with a hurt finger.

To the boss of this place I would say please train the people that are working for you properly, and if you did, take this feedback into account because I’m sure there is people out there who can do a better job for you. For the time being she has just made you lose a client and I won’t be the last one.

I came in to get a manicure and the service was great, there was barely no waiting time, the staff were friendly and lovely. Very local, can’t wait to get my nails done here again. I brought a picture of my nail inspo and they replicated it very well.

I went to this salon for the 4th time today as I live close by and they have been ok with waxing on previous visits but today's visit was very disappointing. As far as I can tell the shellac pedicure was ok apart from the water being really cold but I'm afraid the waxing was appalling. The lady spoke on the phone the entire time and I had no opportunity to discuss what I wanted done, which was just a tidy up. Her technique was very rough and she didn't tidy odd residual hairs with tweezers at all. When I viewed my brows they were significantly thinner than before which is clear to see by the tan line from my original brows. The lady denied taking off any more than a tidy up and made me feel like I was being silly. I am still furious. To top it off my upper lip was still very sticky with wax when I left. There was absolutely no apology or acknowledgement by her or by the 2 other workers who heard this exchange but going by their dismissal of previous negative reviews, it seems this salon is not interested in honest customer feedback so I will go elsewhere from now on.although I doubt my eyebrows will ever be the same again: - (

I booked for my legs to be sprayed tanned and got told to take all my clothes off then the tanning spray was so bad I came home and wash and scrubbed it off
It was such an awful job I wouldn't go their again even if it was free

I always come to this place to get my nails done and legs waxed, and each time they do an amazing job! I went 2 days ago and showed the lady the type of design I wanted on my nails and she did it exactly how it looked! I love their consistency so I won’t be going anywhere else:)

The best nail salon in Essendon! My first time and I wa a blow away and their professionalism and talent. Would definitely go again

I went there yesterday for the first time ever and being honest the workers were so kind, sweet and nice. The lady that was doing my nails was not rough one bit and she cleaned my nails and toes (cuticles) to perfection. I got a manicure and tips with a blue design on it and it was so so STUNNINGGGGG. Definitely recommend coming here. It’s so much better than all of the places I’ve gone too. GOING TO BE GOING WHENEVER MY NAILS ARE GROWN OUT FOR SURE.

Honestly I went here for the great rating they had expecting great things. It was awful! I went there for a manicure with normal nail polish. For starters, they did not get my previous polish off properly and just started painting over the top with the new polish, something they only noticed when I pointed out. However, this also seemed to bother them a lot as they were trying to rush the manicure for no real reason. Their filling of nails was actually pretty horrible and they were left crooked and sharp, not an ideal look. It took them a total of say 10 mins from start to finish, I didn't really feel comfortable due to all the rushing. For future customers, just maybe have a bit of a look around for other services in the area, there's a lot of other better places there! For the business, I would work on those little things as they make a big difference to the experience.

I got my eyelashes extensions and eyebrows done here and love them so much! For my lash extensions I requested a natural yet voluminous set and they were done perfectly! They look super natural and whispy. Prefect length for my eye shape. My eyebrows were also shaped to my eyes perfectly too! I had Lily and she was absolutely amazing. Coming back to refill my eyelash extensions in a few weeks. Can't wait to see you guys again.

This business is extremely professional, great customer service - friendly staff and there's free wifi, there is a wide range of services that all the employees are experienced with, overall it's a very great environment.

Have come to this nail salon many times and always impressed with the service. Very quick and don't make you wait too long before it is your turn.

Thanks girls for look after my nails as usual. Always support lovely girls in Fox and Boi because of good job and excellent behaviour. I felt so sorry for them today when they met inappropriate client with bad attitude that tried drive nail technician mad. I feel so sorry for them but they was very patient and treat that girl well until last minutes.
I’m not sticky nose person but what happened in the shop today unfair for staffs here.
Hopefully that terrible client can read my comment and think about her naughty attitude today. It is not nice when you have a beautiful face but awful personality.

I came to this nail salon many times and extremely happy with the services. Staffs are friendly, many colours to choose from and eye lashes extension was amazing.thumb up for the good work.
