Wowee what a cafe - this establishment has some of out of this world coffee! The staff and barrister are so friendly and decor is very homey. I love their aesthetic with its plants and cutlery - and I love the name of the cafe. It is very creative and would recommend this place if you love Melbourne coffee - MUST TRY!

Must adnut when I looked at it I was a bit suspicious, but 1 forkfull I was obsessed. The taste, was sensational and I could have had a second serving. Just the right amount on your plate to fill you up while drinking your iced coffee. Can't wait to co.e back again with friends to try and taste another dish. Kids would love it as well as very family friendly orientated.

Sando is good, and the risotto isn't bad. But orange juice tastes like peel, not fruit.too bitter.

How dining out should be. Exciting food. Superb coffee. Friendly, wonderful service. Very clean, welcoming cafe. The prawn omelette sambo is quite possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!

Coffee from Yunnan with special aroma and flavour. Service was a bit disappointed and pricy.

My wife likes their pork katsu sando. The Reuben was not bad but only had small amounts of meat filling/pastrami. Nice environment indoors. New staff didn’t know if they charged credit card surcharge when enquired - which they didn’t.

Great food with great customer service.

The yunan coffee was a unique and award winning coffee with sweet notes that is definitely wasn't it's right to be popular.

The yunan spicy Sando was also very tasty and interesting and mixed well with the brioche l, also recommend the prawn omlet sando.

The staff are super friendly and professional about coffee. The coffee I had was toaster from Tianyu bean coming from Yunnan, China and gives a quite special flavor. Highly recommend! Also sell coffee beans here in a decent price.

Food and coffee is great but they are quite pricy. My Japanese sandwich cost almost $25. If you are gonna charge that price, at least put a simple side to go with it.

The cafe is very inviting. When you come in, you'll be greeted with a lovely coffee scent. I love their matcha! I am also a big fan of their vegan and non-vegan dessert options. The indoor sitting options are generous and comfortable. The staff are friendly and courteous. The service is fast. The interior design adds to the cafe vibe ambience. It's a relatively long walk from Swinburne but I'll definitely visit again.

The latest addition to Hawthorn brunch scene, one of the highest rated new cafe: @fourkilofish_hawthorn. If you're looking for a new brunch place to try this weekend then we highly recommend this cafe.

We ordered:
Yunnan Beef Sando (Angus beef mince in yunnan home style, coriander, mozzarella, cheddar, kewpie, ketchup)
Green Benedicts (Poached Free Range Eggs, Taiwanese-style Pulled Pork, Caramelised Pineapple on Ciabata with Matcha Hollandaise)
Hot Ricotta Pancakes (with candied orange, mixed-berry coulis, cinnamon-infused orange syrup, fresh fruits)
Tian Yu Single Origin Latte
? Aged Fermented Pu'er

First of all, this is not a fish and chippery - it is a cafe tha provides coffee & Tea sourced from their lovely hometown Yunnan, China. They also do brunch really well.

We started off with Yunnan Beef Sando & Green Benedicts, both were delicious. The beef sando is one of the best you can find in Melbourne, very punchy and packs of flavours - the beef was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Green Benedicts was on the sweeter side because of the sweetness that comes from the pork and caramelized pineapple but still savoury enough to satisfy your morning cravings. The matcha hollandaise is an interesting combination too, must try!

The Hot Ricotta Pancakes is fully loaded with combinations of fruits that works together harmoniously. Suprisingly not overly sweet and it is perfect for sharing.

The specialty coffee & tea is a must-try here. We tried their single Origin Espresso: Tian Yu and we love the stone fruits/cherry/red wine coffee notes on this cup of latte. We also tried their famous Aged Fermented Pu'er, while it's hard to describe the complex tea flavor but we still like it very much. If you're a tea lover then you should not skip their specialty tea here.

If you're going for specialty coffee, here's the place you should go. The blend are from Yunnan which you rarely find in Melbourne, one of a kind to try. The staffs are super friendly too.

Great service and food was ok, but my latte this morning was very bitter, taste like it was made, remade and made again
