Four Beans Café and Roasting House reviews
39Located in the service lane this cafe roasts it's own coffee with the roaster visible from the inside seating. The All Day Breakfast is a little expensive coming in at $32 but is worth it. The hash brown was crispy, left in the baked beans to enhance both flavours, bacon was cooked just right and the fried eggs were perfectly done. The mushrooms could have been cooked a little longer in some butter but the spinach offset this perfectly. They have gluten free options and both the normal coffee and decaf were amazing. Would definitely recommend brunch here.
Came here with my mum.
Coffee was lovely, would have liked to have tried the food but realised we didn’t have enough time. Very cool decor with lots of different areas (the venue is massive!) Staff seemed unhappy / not genuinely welcoming otherwise this would have been a 5 star experience, maybe they were having a bad day or something, hopefully just a once off.
The first time I walked in, I felt inner peace / Zen. It feels like a tranquil place. The food is great (good range to choose from). The service is wonderful and the coffee is phenomenal.
Love, love, love it here
Bought a cheese and ham off the bone toastie. Cheese was very strong tasting and overpowered the ham. Could not taste the ham because of the cheese.
By far the best decaf coffee I’ve had in a long time, the gf cupcake was delicious and the place has a lovely vibe.
Excellent food and warm, friendly and efficient service. The staff are a credit to the owners of this cafe, and our food was cooked to perfection, the chai was delicious, as was the tea.
Great service, great food and a lovely atmosphere! Thanks Leslie, Mia and team for being so accommodating and always making us feel so welcome. This is definitely one of my favourite places to eat in Melbourne.
Love the meeting room and so does my whole team when we meet there.
See you all again soon!
The food here is great and you can even celebrate the fact that you can afford to brunch by having a prosecco or a mimosa with your eggs.or fish.or superfood of choice.
Wonderful coffee, plenty of space, clean and decorated with all things coffee while enjoying said coffee and other delights.
I found the coffee blend to be a bit strong (maybe I was accidentally given an extra shot?) But the decor here is really lovely. It's incredibly cozy despite the size of the place. I'm looking forward to trying out the breakfasts.
Their coffee definitely rates as one of the best that I have had here in Melbourne. Thr place is sort of nicely hidden in the service lane away from the busy road.
I like this place. Good selection of food which is always tasty and well-presented and the service is friendly. Good coffee. Pleasant environment with a number of areas you can sit in.
Such a beautiful environment, wonderful service and delicious food. Best decaf iced coffee ever. Our child loved the French toast with berries and even fairy floss on top. Great place to have lunch.
The venue is impeccable
The staff lovely and helpful
The fish I had was amazing in every way
Love this place. Always interesting specials on the board. The coffee's great and the service is too. The roasted pumpkin is so good you'll want to marry it. Jis sayin'. Go!
The dine in space was stunning and has outdoor seating as well as inside. The eggs Benny was absolutely delicious and the creamy porridge was very tasty too; Except it was sickly sweet and I couldn’t finish it. The staff were friendly and very efficient, we will be back again.
What a great inner city setting. On the tramline with huge well established trees and gardens. You can find inside or outside on the verge and enjoy the great food and coffee in a real older inner city suburban setting. It's quirky and I love it.
Very welcoming, spotlessly clean venue. Tables with bright yellow zinia in reflective glass vase is both colorful and uplifting. Outdoor areas: one partially enclosed to include 4 footed friends and another presumably for smokers (not sure about this intention). Another outdoor area with garden for sunny days. Coffee excellent, likewise service and a variety of tasty eats.
Delightful place. Very tastefully fitted out and decorated. Located just off the main road but feels like a calm suburban street. Great variety of different foods and drinks to pick from.
Customer service was outstanding. Despite having two (at the time - difficult!) children with us causing a ruckus, everyone was very understanding and helpful. Will be back!
Big space and some tucked away places for a catch up or informal business meeting.upper end of pure cafe pricing but always great quality.recommended
