To begin with this store has one of the worst customer service i have seen, the items are extremely overpriced for the quality the staff behave in an extremely unprofessional way very rude.

Beware Totally unprofessionals! The tone they use to communicate is appalling! Never give enough time to make up ur mind and push to purchase items! Grumpy Staff and Customer service is negative! I wish school goes through the reviews and choose a better shop to sell Uniforms/ books…. Totally unAustralian standards of service.an utter shame for parents like us to see sometimes they have a Massive Go with the parents when they like to exchange the size (which is fair for the shop to deny) but the approach is like Hell towards the customer/parents who wants to exchange. I witnessed the staff apologising to us by saying “sorry brother sometimes we have Difficult parents like this” and we have to deal like such! U gotto b kidding me i said! There are better ways to deal and handle the situation… good luck

Very friendly staff and very helpful! They Should have at least one more branch though to avoid the hassle at the start of the new academic year/term.

This place deserves zero stars. I purchased multiple items (books and clothing) costing over $1000 from the Fountain Bookshop.
One of the clothing items purchased ($35) is too small. The item is still in brand new condition and still in the original pack unopened with all tags still attached. With the original receipt. I contacted the store 4 days later and I was told to bring the item to exchange for a bigger size. After I make the trip to the store the lady at the shop refuses to do anything about it and say I have No rights to exchange or refund. She was very dismissive of my issue and was speaking from the other end of the store. Then she finally came up to the counter after two minutes but it wasn't to speak with me rather it was instead to serve another customer who came after me. She absolutely refused to exchange the item.
I found this treatment abhorrent and it left me feeling upset, anxious and confused and it violated my basic rights under the Australian Consumer Law. It also left me feeling very concerned that a shop can act in such an entitled manner and treat their customers this way. They didn't even offer a bigger size in case I wanted to pay for it! They just left me at the checkout standing. They rush you to buy the items on the day and do Not allow enough time to try everything on. We were literally told on the day we purchased the items that we had to hurry up and empty the area so other parents could come in our place. Then one mistake like this and they refuse to take any accountability for it. This is not so much about the money but rather about the sheer and utter lack of customer service and manners.

Really disappointing and rude service.

I used to get pick from here for primary as at the time, I didn't know how else to get the books and Sirius Staff told everyone that the book packs are here. I understand they need to make a profit so they charge all the stationary and books expensive compared to online websites which sell books individually and at a far lower price. If I were you I would ask people on facebook marketplace for the book list you you can get it for way cheaper than the fountain bookshop.

The thing I don't like is the service here. The staff here is very impatient and often rude with little manners following the rule Get in, get out but more faster. They charge too much for uniforms which they are probably making 5x profit. You can go overseas and replicate the uniforms for a fifth of the price and get 5 pairs of high quality shirts and pants for $55.

Because this is the only "official" way of getting stationary and uniform and is strongly told to parents from Teachers on where they get their uniforms and stationary for school, there is a very high chance that many parents will have to buy from here. Please do not buy from here.

Very rude staff and bad customer service. Really don’t understand why they sell the primary class book packs at double and triple the cost. We could not purchase single books separately. I don’t understand how can school have this bookstore as their book supplier for primary classes. Staff behaves very arrogantly and don’t answer simple questions asked. Definitely would have rated them negative if there was an option.

The worst experience ever! I went for my child’s uniform and they are a new student. Since they have no returns or exchange, I had to make sure everything was right. They kept screaming to hurry up but it is my right and my child’s right to make sure everything is correct. Very bad manners. Would never go if it weren’t for the uniform.

Worst service ever. The lady is very rude and don't know how to talk and keeps on taking in their own language to her fellow colleague so we don't understand what they are talking about. They keep pushing to buy things and don't even give time to Look. Behavior is very rude. The first thing they say is no exchange or refund to start off. No manners on how to speak to customers. I wish i could give them zero stars if there was an option. I wish school has left us with more choices to buy from else where.

Absolute terrible customers service. Got abused by female worker for asking a simple question. Whether School books can be bought separately or whether they need to be purchased in a book pack. Lady started going off saying she's been receiving these question all week (obviously shows it's something are interested in). Lady said nobut then changed her mind and said she would sell them separately but at a ridiculous price (double the cost). If this place is affiliated with Sirius, then this is a very bad reflection of the school.

Very Rude staff. They behave as if they are giving things for free.where the fact is they are charging 3 times than what the price should be. Attitude is very bad. Most disgusting standard of service and behavior in Australia. Because we don't have a choice to buy else where we have to buy from this nasty shop. If possible please avoid buying from this shop. If only i can give them zero stars i would.

Pretty friendly staff and have always received good service from buying uniform to book pack and stationary.

Now I don't understand what all the negative reviews are about and really feel that I have to address them.

First of all, people of course should be doing their research because when you're sending you're kids to a private school it comes with other costs such as buying uniform from a specific place which will obviously come at a cost. People complaining here probably haven't done their research before having their children admitted to Sirius college or should send their children to a public school or they're not aware of how private schools operate.

Secondly, they have the right to close their shop at 5: 00 PM and if they tell people to hurry up near to closing time then the people complaining about it are in the wrong. Every store in Australia asks their customers to wrap up and announce to proceed to checkout counters when they're about to close.

I've been coming here for many years for 2 kids and have not once felt that they push to be quick or provide rude service. The ladies infact are so patient and even help out with multiple sizes for the kids to try on and give honest opinions about the sizes.

And being in a multicultural environment I personally have no problem with the staff talking to each other in Turkish if they feel comfortable.

The most disgusting standard of service. They made us stand outside for about 45 minutes with the longest line of people due to "COVID restrictions", however even as people were constantly coming out of the store they wouldn't let us in. Even after the appalling waiting time, they came outside and told us that they are going on another half an hour lunch break and despite everyone's complaints they basically shut the door on everyone's faces and went on break with the rudest attitude. After letting us in they start yelling at everyone. This place does not even deserve 1 star. Absolutely atrocious and people who do not deserve a job.

If stores like these still exist then what has happened to the standards in Melbourne? This was an absolutely disgusting experience.

Appalling service! Storekeeper kept pushing us to buy quickly in less than 15 minutes, as she wanted to close the store early for a personal commitment she has. To finish earlier, she kept going in to check my girls' skirt size and fit without asking!

Shopping for a few kids and total bill is in thousands, and yet they are not returnable, exchangeable or refundable.

A bit of customer service could go a long way especially for such a reputable college. Not a good start from Sirius college!

One of the worst customer service I have seen in Australia and school uniform shops. Sales people talk in Turkish and you dont understand them. Low quality uniform sold at high price. PSW should stock uniform so it is quality product and rates are good.
No policy displayed in shops and poor management

If I can give 0 review I would. Very bad experience with the staff who served me and she was very rude she should learn to respect a customer. Last minute you cancelled the pop up bookshop at school and leaving a week ahead definitely the parents had to come to store to get the books in saying that the staff cannot show the frustration on the customer. If the school has not requested to get the uniform and the books from this place I would not return to this bookshop. I wish the school had another branch to collect the books. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Very dissapointed.

Really very good Shop. A beautiful bookstore displaying different motifs of Turkish culture.prices are quite reasonable. You will feel yourself in Turkey.

Unhelpful, rude and disgusting customer service. They chat and yell in their own language making it very obvious that they're speaking about you.
If you want to survive in the business world, you need to learn to respect your customers, after all this is where your business comes from. Not to mention the poor quality of uniforms that are made overseas and charged a premium for. Get your act together people.

Very unprofessional staff. 3 staff chat at counter, 3 inside room and no one bothered to help you to pick up uniform from room, asked them for a staff member to come to help 3-4 times to pick up uniform from shelves as nothing mention on shelves, they just stocked on shelves, they have problem in trying sizes, after trying one size, asked for bigger size to try on but staff was very reluctant to give you other size to try on, don’t let you check the uniform for any fault, literally they snatched uniform from my hand and take it to counter to pay, they want bother to tell you prize of single item. Sirius is reputable college and their uniform is available on such unprofessional book shop. The quality of uniform is not good as compared to price as it is very expensive. The quality is comparable to any low quality $10 worth of uniform

A good range of books and some lovely Turkish products such as hand painted plates. Great gift ideas at reasonable prices.

Great store to buy school uniform. I love these details like missing buttons and rips on the side. Definitely first hand and not taken from lost property and washed. The names on the name tags are just put in by the manufacturer.
