Called Foster Hydronic Heating to arrange a standard service and they said they'd call me back. Rang again the following week to follow-up and spoke to someone who I guess must have been in a bad mood. Just wanted to argue and didn't want the work. Going elsewhere and removing their contact details from our device.

I experienced some difficulties with my 10 year old Foster (Hydrotherm) system which was to be expected. Abe came out to assess and was brilliant. He then engaged Mat Brown to roll up the sleeves and deliver. He was professional, courteous, thorough, brilliant at his trade, and an unequivocal problem solver in a no doubt difficult fix situation. Could not recommend these 2 blokes highly enough.

I wish I had acted on the red flags when they first quoted and missed rooms off the house plan, twice. It has taken more than 18 months to finish the retrofitted part of the job which now has holes in the floor where they drilled in the wrong spot. I had to call them to ask if they could commission the slab months after the extension had been completed, as it was the beginning of winter and like an ice block. The slab has, and will forever have, cold spots where you stand at the kitchen bench, which the managing director tells me is our fault. I would get a call to tell me they would be installing the radiators the next day with no thought that we might be away or working and couldn't be there. Random radiator deliveries would turn up on our door of incorrect sizes and colours. After failing to get involved at any point in the 18 months prior, the managing director finally decided to return my call. He was dismissive and condescending. He talked over me with irrelevant topics such as our area having the worst technicians in the country and blamed me, his former staff - everyone but himself.

I have used Foster Hydronic in the past and the service was good. I have spoken to them on two occasions in the last month for a quote on a new boiler and both times never received the quote. I finally did get my quote, which was reasonable compared to other similar firms and the job was completed promptly and efficiently within a few days. Happy to recommend them.

We had our hydronic heating serviced 3mo ago and I showed the technician that some of the units were leaking rusty water onto the carpet and he said he would tighten the valves which he did. He didn’t seem to be very experienced. I paid for the service.
The units were still leaking and I called the next week and I had a terrible conversation with the managing director. He kept trying to talk over me and was extremely condascending. He told me I had been told that the whole system needed to be flushed and it would cost $1500.00 - I had had no such communication. He also said that I had been sent a email re this which I did not receive. It was a very unprofessional phone call. I then engaged another company to do this work which I had been told by Foster Hydronic Heating would take 2 people half a day. The other company came and said this wasn’t necessary. They fixed the problem by changing some of the valves, checking the system and charged half the price. I had been very happy with Foster Hydronic Heating in the past but maybe they’re getting too big and don’t care about their customers anymore.

Being a property manager it is so important to work with reliable trades. Fosters go over and above with their friendly service and fast repairs. Highly recommend, they have never let me down. 10 out of 10!

Excellent. You often judge a company by how they behave when things go wrong. They fitted a new boiler and within 1 month we had an issue, they came straight away and fixed it at no charge (sensor fault). Then we had a renovation and our electrician broke the thermostat. They came again next day and fixed this at cost. So glad I chose them and highly recommend them. Their engineers are so polite and knowledgeable too - lovely people!

Our boiler suddenly stopped working for our hydronic heating and Foster's were able to attend the next day.
Sadly our old boiler was RIP but a new one was arranged which was able to be installed 4 days later.
Dan the installer was great, super friendly, confirmed the time the day before, arrived on time and after install taught me how to program the new thermostat.
Highly recommend Foster Hydronic Heating, from organising the initial call out, receiving information on the new boiler, all communications and the efficiency was great. Thanks Dan and Team!

Not cheap but good value.a very professional installation team (Jimmy, Dan) successfully replaced existing Fitzroy boiler and manifold in restricted space, with a minimum of collateral damage. Great attention to detail.work ethics, sense of humour!

Had the pleasure of having Mark and Harley work with us on the final installation of the Hydronic panels - the work was fantastic as was the way the accommodated our questions and minor tweak in a gracious manner. Also gave great a intro to the system and the best way to operate it. Also kudos to the other team members from Foster that cam in the earlier stages - all very engaging, respectful and gracious. Would highly recommend working with this team.

Had Harley come over to rough in and install of our units. Harley went above and beyond his role in offering support and providing us with understanding to what he was doing. Would recommend if anyone was seeking out Hydronic Heating

We had our heating serviced by Fosters technician Louis. Louis was fast and efficient, he showed good knowledge of the system. I would highly recommend Fosters and Louis to all who are looking for someone to work on their hydronic heating.

Two main call-outs and thanks in writing this review:
1) The rough-in team did an excellent job in a somewhat tricky building. A special thanks to Craig and the team for working so hard to install the system with minimal impact to our home.
2) The system was finalized by Matt today, installing all of the panels, boiler etc. He also did a great job.
All of the hydronic engineers have been great: good communicators, polite, focused, very neat work and leave a tidy site on departure.

We love our hydronic heating but when we had our boiler play up it could be a costly repair.
The very experienced service team reviewed, after a visit and a conversation with the service manager, they quickly established it was not my boiler but my gas valve.
Gas supplier fitted a new one within 5hrs, another great surprise! And my boiler was working perfectly again. So very grateful.

I have had a brilliant experience with Foster Hydronic Heating. I had had issues with a hydronic unit we installed in the slab of a new extension however after excellent service from the Foster Hydronic Heating team in Canberra all is working perfectly and we are very comfortable. Paul didn’t give up even when the day seemed to be against him. He FIXED it.
Thank you also to Michael, Andy and I think I spoke to James as well.
Terrific team, I would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend Foster highly enough. From Fred at the office, who really went above and beyond to assist us in moving mountains to get us a time for someone to come out a time, through to Mark who came out and installed panels and serviced our unit. When we need to upgrade our system, I would only call these guys. Very happy.
