If you're looking for a frustrating shopping experience, Forty Winks Highpoint might be the place for you. My encounter with them was marked by a complete lack of professionalism, non-existent post-sale customer service, and poor communication. I advise taking your business elsewhere.

On November 26,2023, I ordered a bed from them, but the process was mishandled at every step. Initially, they sold a bed that was out of production (without telling me). I contacted them on December 7, as there had been no update, only to be informed the bed was no longer in production and were sourcing an alternative, with the new model expected to ship by December 15.

After no further communication, I called again on December 19, and was told a new bed and base had arrived and that I could come in to test it. However, upon visiting the store on December 20, the new mattress wasn't on display, and the unavailable model was still being showcased (surprise surprise). The staff had to set up my mattress for testing. They promised delivery either that afternoon or on December 21.

I followed up on December 21 at 11: 43 am, only to learn the base wasn't in stock, with a tentative delivery now set for December 22. Finally, on December 22 at 12: 49 pm, they informed me of delivery within 30 minutes, but the items arrived four hours later.

Wish we'd visited Forty Winks at Highpoint earlier! The team's knowledge and willingness to help us find the right bed was simply outstanding. They went the extra mile to make sure we bought our mattress and frame at a hugely competitive price. Thanks team!

Avoid this store. Service was passable initially, we made a comfort guarantee exchange request after recieving our first mattress and that went smoothly.

Once we recieved the replacement, we realised it was incredibly uncomfortable, had a large mound in the middle that meant if you slept anywhere other than the very edge, you were on an angle. It also had a hard ridge on the side of the mattress that digs into your back.
They pushed responsibility onto the manufacturer who denied any problem, now Forty Winks sales are ignoring emails. Additionally, we made a complaint to head office, as this is a franchise, no response or acknowldegment whatsoever of that complaint.

Find somewhere else to buy a bed from, it’s not worth paying $2K+ for an uncomfortable mess you can’t get support for.

Came in today looking for a new mattress for my back issues and had Steve P serve me. With his knowledge and amazing customer service and his great personality made me feel welcomed and comfortable enough to make my purchase with him today. All I can say is, go and see Steve and you will get the best customer service, have a laugh & walk out with the product you need!

This is the second time I have bought a mattress at this store. The staff were very knowledgeable and helped me match the bed to my needs as I have chronic back pain.

The second time I went with my mum. They helped to ensure that the mattress was suitable and that the bed frame and bed head also worked in our home. Good range of mattresses also helped to refine what worked. Keen to tell my physio about this store too as the mattress matching system that was used is really useful for identifying the right mattress to manage my back pain and may help others too!

I was shopping around for a quality mattress at a good price. I went to forty winks at highpoint and upon arrival l was greeted by a lady named Jessica. I explained to her what I was looking for with ease and she took in the information I provided into a special computer that has the technology to indicate the best/suitable bed for me. Jessica found the right mattress at the right price. Jessica displayed professionalism, experience, outstanding customer service in bedding. I know I was in safe hands. She kept me informed with the delivery of my mattress. The delivery was easy. Two gentlemen Ranga and Dinise worked carefully well together and managed to put the Queen mattress in the back room. I am very pleased by all the staff that dealt with me.

I first went to the store in person to test several mattresses and a lady there promised me that the delivery guys would help me put the base together and the mattress then on top, since I have major back issues and I can't lift anything. I ordered a double mattress and base on Boxing Day sale, and I paid around $2,100 for it. I don't know about you, but that's a lot of money, I think. They told me it would be delivered 2nd to 3d week of January.

There was no follow up email or call from them. I call them the 2nd week of January to ask about the order's status and they begin this whole spiel that it was the holidays and with COVID, and all that. Then the guy on the phone said that my bed will be delivered next week. I asked him about the assembly and he said "no, we don't do that". I explained to him what the lady in the store said, and the fact that I am unable to do it and why, to which he replied "I understand, because you're a woman. " I was outraged of course, but I couldn't ask for a refund at that point because I would lose 25%.

Week 3-nothing.

Week 4- they call me on Thursday to tell me the mattress is being delivered today, Friday. Two guys show up wearing NO masks, even though it's mandatory to wear mask indoors in VIC, and just dumped the mattress in my room. Of course, they didn't help me put it together and I didn't ask them to. I managed to do it on my own, but what I discovered was that the mattress has a horrible SMELL! It's like a plastic-y and manufacture-y smell that I feel I should be warned about. Since now I obviously can't lift it and put it out on the balcony to air it, and since I don't have any other bed, I have to sleep on a bad smelling mattress. You'd think that that is something the store should have warned me about.

Very poor customer service for the amount of money I paid. I don't recommend.

Bought 2 single mattresses. Okay for what I paid. Sales lady was helpful and helped carry it to my car.

Very helpful staff who are happy to engage and answer questions but will also give you space and time to process the information they give you. There's no pressure to buy immediately or make a decision before you're ready. The selection of mattresses is good (they had what we wanted, at least) and the beds & bedroom suites are in a pretty broad range of styles and price points with some good deals. We've bought two mattresses from Michelle over the years and she's a pleasure to deal with - super knowledgeable and friendly (and also very patient!). Definitely a good place to buy your next mattress and/or bed.

Very good service and price is very good too. Just bought a king single mattress for $260. Deposit some money then pay the rest when pick up. Ready in 5 working days

This place has some really good beds. My favourite one is the gas lift bed. It comes in double, ueen and king, not sure about single. I've already bought 2 of them and they have been amazing. The storage space in it is a lifesaver for smaller city houses. The materials it's made of seem very sturdy and durable. The bed lies directly on the floor so no legs, making it even more stable.

Owner looks and conducts himself wrong. He is arrogant and he is very rude. They will do anything to take a deposit for the beds and once they have it you are like no one.

Poor service and then they took no responsibility when they made a mistake by forgetting to order our furniture to be made. Staff just wiped there hands of it. Really bad service considering how much money we parted with. I will not go back for our next purchases and don't recommend this place.
