Forty Winks’ manager just came to my house and claimed that he will threaten me that he knows my address so he can make trouble. I cannot believe this happen to me and happen in Australia, this kind country. I bought a king single mattress which was $1,000 after sales (full price is $1,700 or $1,400 I could not remember) and it became concave after 4 months. After that, I contacted the shop for one to two months, but the customer service never replied me. I had to go to the shop for the solution. They said they could not replace me a new mattress, even I have the 10-year warranty. The only thing they could do was replacing the new spring inside, then I accepted this choice. I had been waiting for fixing the mattress for 2 weeks, and after they delivered back for 3 days, the middle part of the mattress sinks again, and this time is getting even worse. I doubt the work the manufactory did because the situation of hollow took 3-4 months when I bought the mattress at the beginning, but this time it only took 3 days for reappearing after they claimed they replaced the spring unit. I called the store again, they said after they arrange someone to inspect my mattress, they would give me the refund. However, they denied this option after and I contacted the store, they said they could not do anything. I had to argue with them, then they said the manager would come to my house and see the mattress again to solve the problem. The manager just came and he said he would only try to contact the manufacturer to see what they can do (which they said for a long time), and said Victorian Consumer Complaint would ignore me. I said, “ If you do not find the solution, I have to go to the store and fight for my right. ” He threatened me that he knew my address so he can make me in trouble. If I argue at the store, he will call the police to throw me out and also have a lot of ways to play dirty.

Exactly the same products, Springvale Forty Winks charged me $1000 (after bargaining) for them, where a few days later I accidentally found out Nunawading Forty Winks would only cost me $800 (before bargaining). It took the management a week to respond my email, and they said "we did not do anything wrong, as we are franchise, each store has its own price.we won't refund you the price difference, and the decision is final. "
Bravo on ripping your customers off in such a smart way. Forty Winks you are doing damage to your own brand.
