We would like to thank all the staff at 40 Winks Geelong, especially Rachel who went above and beyond to help us purchase a mattress, base and bedding accessories. We were probably the most difficult customers in the sense that we were very undecided, had a certain budget, wanted to test so many beds, kept changing our minds and Rachel was so patient and helpful all the time. She just genuinely wanted us to be happy and find the right mattress and in the end we did and have been sleeping on it for about a month so far and it is fantastic. It has changed our life by getting such better sleeps. At one stage also we had to change our order because i had changed my mind and all the staff were understanding and it was no trouble at all. We are very grateful for the amazing service we received. We had been to every bed store in Geelong, the others weren't bad but we found 40 Winks to be the best. Absolutely 100% recommended. Thank you Rachel so much. You are a gem.

Staff were exceptional looked after me with a very good price, and threw in extras very prompt delivery. Thanks guys will be back for the next bed.

BEST SERVICE EVER!
We purchased a bed through previous management (ownership) which turned out wasn’t what we expected.
On returning to Forty Winks, our grievance was listened to and rectified incredibly to which we are eternally grateful. Looking forward to a great night sleep. Thanks to Tim and management. Job well done, I’ll be certainly recommending your business.

I had a great experience at the Geelong store! I went in to look at a bed base, and Miguel was so helpful. He was honest about the products and genuinely helped me decide on a better-quality bed base without trying to push me out of my budget. He was polite, super kind and a great help. We also spoke to Tim and he was lovely too! Thank you!

We have been looking for a blanket box, we have found a beautiful one, a bit dear but is perfect for us. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I’ve had the most amazing experience with Forty Winks Geelong. The delivery guys came down to Melbourne to deliver my mattress and they did it with a smile on their faces and a chat while working, such nice guys. Thank you so much to Andrew for the excellent service! You went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. Thank you to Kate and Tim for your involvement too. Can honestly say they are the nicest people to deal with from the beginning all the way to the delivery and removal of my old mattress.

What a delightful experience! Thank you for such a fabulous experience with our recent purchase. An absolute must is to take the time to do the sleep analysis test - not only did we find the best matched mattress, but pillows too! Our sales rep was very knowledgeable, by no means pushy or over the top ‘sales’. Nothing was too much of a problem and everyone in store were all very helpful indeed. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced - thank you!

Huge thankyou to Tim for assisting with the purchase of a mattress. Tim was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure a quick delivery. Bought and had delivered within an hour, couldn't ask for better than that! Also thankyou to Richard for helping make the delivery happen. Great service

Thankyou Tim for a great experience today! We came in after having an Amart Furniture mattress for 18months and it sagging like undercooked cake.
We did the sleep test, and Tim matched us with several mattresses, giving us choices rather than trying to sell us:)
No pressure to purchase the most expensive or a homebrand, just good quality. We usually hate furniture shopping, but walked out having spent 4k + accessories (again no selling pressure). No regrets and will be back in the future when we ever need a mattress again.

My husband and I were in the market for a new bed and visited Forty Winks Geelong. Cecilia listened closely to our needs and gave us a thorough breakdown of our options based on our requirements and price point. Her in-depth knowledge of the products they sell was invaluable and we were very happy with our final choice. My worst customer service experience ever!
Cecilia was very unprofessional and rude in manner. I was being asked about unnecessary stuff thats not even related to furnitures. I felt she might be a but racist too. I don’t normally like being asked where i have come from and how long i have been here, specially while serving Australian RAAF years. Disappointed.

After waiting for 10-15 minutes without so much as a hello from staff members we had a staff member yell out to us in a rude tone, while serving other customers that the mattress we were trying wouldn’t suit our larger frames.

I’m a realist and want a bed that’s going to be right for our body type, but to yell that out without even saying hello or asking what we were after was pretty abrasive. The customers the lady was already serving were also pretty taken back by her approach based on their feedback to her we could overhear. Terrible customer service, there are ways to have some tact and consideration on those topics and that’s not it. The ladies demeanour was all round rude, huge lack of any form of basic customer service skills.

Such a shame as the lady who helped us afterwards was so lovely and apologetic. Based on this event and the other negative reviews I’ve read here it seems one staff members actions are impacting the reputation of this store and therefor doing a disservice to the rest of the team.

Thank you to the lady who spoke with us afterwards. We appreciated your compassion but unfortunately the damage was already done and we took our money elsewhere.

Asking questions has always been a way to build rapport and understand the needs of my customers. Awful service, the worst I’ve experienced ever. Have recently been trying to buy more locally from a “store with a door” the issue is this experience was so bad I am inclined to return to online shopping. Rude, unhelpful, uninformed and there wasn’t even any other customers in the store!

I was shopping for a new bed during Covid stage 4 lockdown went to a few bedding stores and no one could organise a bed for me earlier than Jan 2021 My mum and l went to Forty winks Geelong and not only did l find a high quality Australian made bed, the staff made phone calls and organised on for me to arrive in 4-5 weeks and they did not dissapoint. I got a great price for a quality bed frame and delivered right to my door. Now mum wants a new bed. Thank you to Lee and his staff very professional.

I purchased a King and Queen bed from here, when purchasing i was informed 1-4 weeks waiting time. It was an important factor. COVID was active at the time so restrictions have not hanged, infact they are better now. It's now 9 weeks and ive had to call twice for an update. I along with my husband and daughter are all sleeping on the ground as we moved to a new home. Given the wait time we were happy to wait 4 weeks, even 5. I've called again today and left a message but still no responce. Customer service is appauling, if i were to treat my customers this way Id lose my job. I do not reccomend Forty Winks Geelong and am asking for a full refund as other brands have stock available that they can guarantee in 1 week delivered. Trying to support the local community but get no support back!
