Thank you for the quick reply to my previous review, Kia.and I do appreciate you take time to read it thoroughly and provide your view on this.

Firstly, just to clarify, I took my son out of the classroom voluntarily and I was holding him in my arms. So it’s not that he was by himself at the end of corridor while I was further away in the reception area. We were told that “you could not stay here, there are other private lessons running so you are interrupting them”without offering to go to a quiet room. There were no query or concern what’s going on, but a direct order. Certainly have no intention to mix up the truth here.

I am sure the receptionist is a fabulous person/staff and other people have great experience with her yesterday, the same as any other day. Nevertheless, my previous review were just honest feedbacks to her handling on this particular occasion.

Most importantly, my intention to that review is NOT asking for refund to yesterday lesson/future lesson/ book or any kind. In fact, we would like to finish this term’s lessons at least. So please do NOT send me a email on this regarding. I never wrote I felt your school is not a place for us. But if the school has a policy not accepting student anymore after whose parent left bad review on Google, please advise otherwise.

I am sorry if you are terribly disappointing for us as a new client leave a bad review, surely it’s even worse if it’s a longstanding client of yours. But a review is just a review - feedback of client experience which could be overturned and improved.

We love the class here. But I am not impressed by how one staff react in one particular occasion today. My son had a moment and started to cry in the Music for Fun class. I carried him out so he would not interrupt others in the same class. But as soon as we walked out the classroom. A staff came out the reception and demanded us to leave the building immediately because the crying was interrupting other classes. It was rainy and windy outside and both of us had not got a chance to put on shoes when we left the classroom. Luckily my son calmed down at the stairs and we went back to the class. I appreciate that particular staff would like to maintain the order in the building, but I would like to remind her that these children in Music for Fun class are around 4 years old who often have their moment emotionally. If you are not prepare to accommodate that, probably should not have these classes running here. One fact I find particularly annoying was that the teacher in the classroom don’t even ask us to leave because of the crying, we left the classroom voluntarily so the class would not be interrupted, but the receptionist just jumped out and ask us to leave the building in a rude and unthoughtful way. Not sure if it’s training issue or she just followed the rule here.

Don’t go with The guitar teacher (Alex) waste of your time and money
He just keep looking at the time and talk,
Spend minimum time to teach new lesson
He was so mean to my son (7 years old)
Because my son told he really doesn’t like to learn guitar
And he told my son to get out of the room

A truly excellent place for kids to get their first taste of music. Vibrant, active lessons with lots of singing and dancing, great learning books, and prizes to keep them engaged over time (if they complete their lessons). My son was always enthusiastic about going. They also introduce the children to public performances which has been great for his confidence and playing for people. Highly recommended.

I have only heard good things about Forte wantirna for so long that when my daughter finally turned 3.5, I enrolled her in the Music is fun program. Although we stopped attending for a term now due to my work, my daughter remembers all the songs and movement that she had learnt from Ms Cailyn. My daughter absolutely adores her music teacher and asks us all the time when she's going back to music class! I really appreciate the communication I've received so far at Forte Wantirna and Kia the director not only invites everyone with a big smile but is always available to answer our questions. I will definitely come back to Forte Wantirna for its reputation and professionalism!
