FORMPLEX WEATHERBOARDS

After a few years of delays due to needing to repair & replace a stained glass window (plus including COVID) we finally were able to go ahead with the transformation of our home. Formplex kept us updated throughout the whole time - Sylvana & Howard were fabulous & answered all our questions.
Our home was built in 1905/1906 and had old aluminum cladding which had holes, hailstone dents & mould. We had chosen Vanilla & were constantly amazed watching the installation process as Andreas, the installer worked.
We are extremely happy with the result and look forward to many years of no maintenance.

I am very grateful to Peter and his team. I live in the coldest town in Australia and Peter and his team completed my cladding job in the midst of a cold winter under challenging conditions. My home was very tricky and complex to clad. My home has eleven sides, limited access and it is two stories at the front. My home has a number of balustrades, a deck, entry vestibule and a number of down pipes that all added to the complexity of the job. Peter was upfront with me from the beginning about what needed to be done and he kept me informed throughout the whole process. Peter and his team worked in challenging climatic conditions. One morning it was minus 9. I am so happy with the end result. My home looks like new and the cladding has been completed to a high standard. I cannot thank Peter and his team enough. Buyers beware.

I can't believe how little service you get after this product starts falling off your home. I have been trying to get a repair done for over a year now, only because they keep telling me they have someone going to fix it and it never happens. 4 times now.

Update, thank you Formplex, I look forward to you reaching out and providing a solution.

Update 4 months after last.had a call from Formplex, still going to be another couple months, waiting on tradie, same story again.

Update, nearly 2 years to sort out this issue.ended only a couple weeks after sending an email threatening legal action for cost related to further disrepair or damage due to the cladding issue not being rectified in a timely manner as per ACCC laws.

This review is not in regards to the quality of the product or install but rather of Formplex employee conduct.
Many of these Formplex samples were thrown on my neighbourhood's driveways and nature strips as my suburb does not have letterboxes (Cockatoo, Victoria). The conduct of the Formplex rep who distributed these samples shows a blatant disrespect for the natural environment as uPVC takes 30+ years to go brittle let alone actually break down into organic compounds. We are forced to put these samples into our landfill bin as we are not allowed to put code 3 recyclables into our recycling bins. Littering is not the best way to promote your business.

My wife and I were very impressed with the level of service and professionalism displayed by Formplex as a company and the individual representative that walked us through the benefits of the excellent product, the installation process, and overall time frames from delivery through installation and final sign off, we couldn't have asked for more.

We had Formplex installed recently to the upstairs section of the house which was weatherboard. This is the best decision we have made as the upstairs section looks brand new now & many friends & neighbours have commented on how wonderful it looks – they thought it was a new extension! I highly recommend getting Formplex if you have a weatherboard home, as you will never ever have to paint or replace rotting wood again! Formplex is adaptable to all weather elements, we noticed a reduction in heat on very hot days & we are yet to experience the coming winter which I believe will be warmer now that we have Formplex. If you want a low maintenance product, then this is perfect & they have so much confidence in their product that they offer a 50 year guarantee, the product will outlive us! All Formplex staff we dealt with were extremely wonderful to deal with, from sales we dealt with Bruce whom is a fantastic, professional & very kind & thoughtful person, he really went out of his way to help us with our queries in getting the upstairs section ready for Formplex installation. Also, the office ladies Silvana & Val were very helpful & very accommodating to our requests. The delivery man Gareth was such a pleasure to deal with as well as Robert who picked up the Excess Formplex once the job was completed, he was very professional & very polite. And the installation team Howard & Frank were regularly updating me on the status of our job. The installer, Yazco did a fantastic job on our home, he was very professional & worked very hard. He was also very helpful when we asked him questions & we valued his advice. The scaffolding company used ‘Veco Scaffolding’ was the best scaffolding company! Steve & Mario were an amazing & very friendly & accommodating team, they put up an extremely solid scaffold, I had alot of tradies attending the property from Builders/Roof Tradie’s/Plumbers/Electricians/Painters & every single one of them commented on how excellent & solid the scaffolding was & they even asked for the phone number of the Scaffolding Company as they wanted to use them for their business. A BIG thank you Formplex staff for the First Class Service & wonderful outcome to our home. I have been recommending your company to friend’s who have weatherboard homes as they will never be disappointed, you spend a bit of money but in the long run you never have to paint or replace weatherboards ever again, a maintenance free quality product.

DO NOT use this company! Was a traumatic experience from start to finish (finish is loosely termed) which included exposing my entire family to asbestos fibres for weeks, damage to my property and verbal abuse from members of the company! Completely unprofessional and would NOT recommend to anyone!

Formplex weren’t in the area when we first enquired however Mo assured us he would meet with us when he was local. True to his word we met with him today and his level of expertise was excellent. We’ve chosen to clad our house in Rivergum and can’t wait to see the end result. Fantastic service and would highly recommend.

Awesome experience had Mo come around, measure and quote for grey eco tuff placed our order. No more painting again

Honestly unsure if i would reccomend this company so far.started off great called formplex for a quote they came out the following day went through the choice of weather boards ect signed the contract paid $1250 deposit. Materials were delivered quickly aswell 4 days after signing contract.
I paid formplex a further $7,500. I was told it would all be installed in 8-12 weeks.
20 weeks after signing the contract im still waiting for any work to start.
I have called them multiple times to see when it will be installed.
Everytime they say 4 weeks then you call after 4 weeks and they tell you 4 weeks again.
Im over calling and following up with them just to be given the run around i shouldnt have too.
I have a 8 week old and 18month old kids this job needs to be done with currently no weatherboards on the side of the house.
Honestly getting pretty disapointed with this company.
No discount/compensation on the delay or even any updates.
Will give them another 2 weeks to get the job done otherwise will be calling them to pick up the materials in my backyard that have been sitting there for months and get my $8750 that i have paid so far back so i can get another company to complete the job.
Really hate leaving reviews like this but i feel no othee option
