Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre reviews
64Average suburban shopping mall with all majors retailers. Never very busy so it is good for shoppers who prefer to take it easy.
It has all the essentials, but still lacks a variety of shops and restaurants that would appeal to the multicultural neighborhood. It desperately needs a makeover.
Older shopping complex needs a complete makeover to bring it up iodate! Escalators always braking down. Easy undercover parking inc open space area. Two major supermarket stores very outdated and need to be updated 2023! 5 / 10 for this shopping complex…!
I like coming here as it has good retail as well as food courts and Movies. Parking is usually easily accessible. And it is clean.
FHC used to be a quite and lovely centre. Now it is crowded and full of people, even during lockdown supermarkets were full.
What I like the most is that it's usually not crowded. Parking is easy and there are heaps of different stores. The food court is great with heaps of variation in the food and the vendors are super friendly. Good place to go!
Loving the brand new Salvos Store that has opened here. We have found the best bargains and love how the staff adopt the same values as us. Renew, Recycle and Reuse.
The worst customer service ever!
Contacted them about a promotional issue that coincided with covid lockdowns. Was given the runaround with wrong information. They asked for all sorts of information and evidence, but in the end providing zero assistance. All they did was brush me off. Waste of my time.
Forest Hill Chase is an old shopping centre but a good shopping centre on the weekend as there's lots of the fresh food stall markets and whatnot and all the supermarket including Aldi
Not the greatest shopping centre but one of the bigger ones. The car parking situation is terrible, especially if you want to leave at rush hour, it also cost money after a certain duration. The restaurants and cinemas add some redeeming qualities.
The shopping centre is generally pretty quiet due to not having some of the bigger shops (such as Kmart). Great place to go if it has the specific shop you want.
Nice shopping centre if you're looking for something a little quieter than Glen Waverley. Has a good food court.
Another good (but not too large) shopping centre with a good selection of shops. Again plenty of free parking and easy Public Transport (bus) access. Slightly larger than Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre but again it doesn't take hours to get around.
The inside is not very attractive, old lifts n escalators that don’t function, old giant speed humps in the car park that don’t suit a shopping mall & not good for Modern day vehicles. The place has potential to attract lots of customers from leafy neighbouring suburbs if only they did some serious renovations. Lots of parking spots available too
I really quite like Forrest Chase. Old styled centre with a warm feel. Makes its contemporaries like Northland or Eastland feel really awful. Ample parking, plenty of great stores and clean toilets. Id pick this centre over any other local. Especially the Glen.
This place awkwardly has good shops yet also tiny at the same time. Not to mention that it has the creepiest entry from the carpark, my god, you feel like you're in a horror movie with the echoing and screaming children. I mean, all up, it's alright though. Handy dandy if you need it.
Man, what a dated shopping centre. Depressing as hell with random knock off clothing pop up shops. So much rubbish and abandoned ("donated") clothing littering the carpark.
Great access to shops and for parking.
Never ever shop in ugg boot shop in the mall outside woolworths. They are never present at their stall then promise you can bring goods back if they don't fit properly or don't gave alternative style. I took my purchase back within 18 hours and the young clueless girl could only repeat we don't refund.they have limited styles no choice of boots and sizes.
Worst outlet in Melbourne. Store was manned with young unprofessional girl (when she was actually present at the stand) who was rude and most unhelpful. Store is called
"SOXNUGGS"
Other friends and shoppers have warned me about how disreputable stand this was.
Parking availability is fantastic, never spending mindless loops driving around the lot to snag a park. Shops within close proximity to parking bay, very conveniently layered shopping centre.
My review is biased because I don't like Shopping Centres. Rarely, maybe once every 3 years but.today I visited Forest Hill and the last visit was in the year of 1996-97.
I still have photos from the front carpark.
Nothing special like all the others. Boring stereotiped shoppings due to Franchises. Nothing original and I had an $11.00 lunch and it was bad. I asked for a plate but no plate, only box. Plastic fork and knife is available but no plate.
The worst: during the payment touch and go (the box was already on my hands) the employee mentioned of 20 cents surcharge.
There was no sign or billboard or warning sign of the surcharge.
How Forest Hill Chase can be different or original?
- Free of franchises and only for original shops and brands.
Probably my suggestion isn't feasible.
The best for Chase!
