Fordham Gardens reviews
22Small, beautiful garden with a few tables, barbecue facilities and playground for the kids. Dogs on lead only.
Quiet local park with playground lots of lawn area for picnics. A small pond area creates a picturesque setting.
We may relax on the lush green lawn or on the benches; regrettably, there are no restrooms; still, it is a very nice location to hang out.
It’s a very nice relaxing park to go to on my lunch break and hear the sound of running water, different grass, flowers and trees across the park, benches, shade, a barbecue and children’s playground. It’s next to a tram stop and to some houses, but my main reason it only gets 3 stars from me is that it has no bathroom facilities. It really makes it difficult to enjoy the park for longer than 2 hours without restrooms here or nearby.
Beautiful, lush gardens with a gorgeous water feature. Nice to stop by and enjoy the lovely location — there are also benches and a BBQ here as well. Would be a perfect place for a picnic!
Delightful gardens, very well maintained by Council. Sadly, though, all the fish have died from folk overfeeding them and giving them inappropriate stuff to eat.
Nice place to do barbeque with Little family, whilst cooking kids can wait in the playground next to it, you can lying down on the grass whilst enjoying the sun touch your face, and smells of your barbeque! Will definitely come back here to do some more barbeque.
This garden is just beautiful. A little pond in the middle with a wooden platform looks amazing. It feels like you are in a Hills station. Just get off tram no 75 and you are greeted to amazing greenery. Near Sai Baba Temple, if you wish to go there.
Very well maintained and the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Not many people come here, so its the perfect place to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Cute little Garden. Kids had a ball looking for Ted poles, climbing trees and playing on the play ground. We set up a little picnic it was nice and not too over crowded
These are beautiful gardens on Camberwell Rd, Camberwell.
Beautifully maintained, a number of comfortable seating places, lovely shady trees, & masses of spectacular flowers of every variety.bursts of colour.very easy foot paths to walk on, not too far from Monaco's Delicatessen opposite Glen Iris Rd for a splendid coffee or skinny hot chocolate.very peaceful & relaxing place to sit and read.generally not too crowded
Always nice to visit the fish and ducks in the pond. Gardens are well maintained and local kids are harmless, they gather peacefully to smoke bongs and socialize.
A beautiful, neat, well-kept park. A lovely place for a gentle stroll, a picnic, a BBQ or simply to rest and take in the peace.
Beautiful gardens with parking both on Camberwell Rd and a side-street to the East. Quaint pond/lake, and plenty of trees. But, no public toilet, and grassed areas not 100% flat.
Absolutely stunning g Japanese park, the newly renovated pond with gold/koi fishes, with lotus flowers. Have BBQ place and a playground for the kids too
Amazing garden with beautiful landscape with a pond, some lotus with little spring and a lookout.
My wife and I work together - we bought takeaway coffee and beautiful rolls from Monarco‘s deli - sat under the shade of a tree during our lunch hour - social distancing was great with other groups of people quietly enjoying the beauty of the gardens - these are a gem to be kept encumbered and for the Common wealth and good of all

A beautiful gem of a park hidden away in Camberwell. It has interesting plantings and is well laid out with plenty of lawn with and without shade. Definitely worth a visit.
