Foragers Cafe reviews
23 Food and coffee at a reasonable quality for the price however costumer service seems to diminish with what seems like to be relatively busy time for the staff.
Unfortunate to see how much work load at 11 am on a Monday morning can effect the way staff treat their costumers…
Would have probably traded a better experience for an average food/coffee if I was aware of this.
Great coffee, great selection of food including vegetarian and often vegan. Convenient location and has public toilets alongside it. Tradies or drivers refuge stop.
Stopped her for a quick lunch.
We got a croissant - delicious, lasagna and salad - delicious, Turkish roll - delicious.
Overall the little Cafe was nice and clean. Small tables and a bit tight for anymore than 2 people but we managed.
The food was delicious and couldn’t fault it.
However the service from one girl behind the counter was below par. She was a bit rude and blunt and rolled her eyes at us once when we had to check for what else to have when one meal option wasn’t available. There was no greeting from the staff and had to try to engage with them before we could get service.
A bit disappointing to see when the Cafe has such wonderful reviews and great food.
If you’re not enjoying your job, move on. Seemed like her job was a bit too much of an effort.
Great place, nice coffee. Only stars missing because girl who served up with long blonde hair in a plait was very unwelcoming.
Dropped in for a quick breakfast and had the best breakie bagel ever!
(Swapped the bacon for avocado and it was delicious)
A great little cafe, warm, comfortable, good food and coffee. Staff are excellent. Plenty of parking.
Clean, warm and friendly. No delay in getting a hot drink, nice coffee and followed with breakfast. Fairly priced too.
Still a great place, best coffee in Ararat.
Beautiful coffee and service
Loved their beef sausage roll with chutney. Will be our go to Cafe for coffee and food in Ararat.
Popped in for lunch because we could smell nice food getting prepared from a distance.
No foraged ingredients as far as I can see but a selection of light lunches. There are pillows, they were promoting R U Ok day, selling organic olive oil and coffee presses and such - should be called Vibe Cafe.
The meals were tasty and well presented so we stayed on for coffee and cake.
Coffee is excellent.
Carrot cake is great and the brownie is death by chocolate.
This is a great little café with friendly and attentive service, recommended for coffee or light meals.
. Thanks for my umbrella.
Always the best of food choices and coffee! The variety and presentation is a must to see and taste.
Friendly service and delicious coffee. Recommend this place, right next to the information centre
Good little cafe in a convenient location, the coffee is quite nice and there is a good assortment of food and treats to choose from.
Pretty good experience here. Some minor gripes. But lets start with the good!
Service was great! Super friendly and welcoming. I ordered a late and almond croissant. Great! Coffee was spot on and the croissant wasn’t disappointing. So too marks. The other order was earl grey tea, so so, and fruit toast, which was good. That’s all.
Tiny little space with okay seating. Small tables. The options are not amazing but what’s available is good stuff.
Great for 2-4 people, big groups are a struggle in feeling. Moving on.
So overall, this place was good. Dont be put off by the seemingly lowly score. It’s probably a consistently good cafe with consistently good food. Just didn’t blow my mind or exceed expectations.
Good stuff.
Small array of menu items.
Opted for the toasted chicken and cheese sandwich. Turned out very nice. Simple but tasty.
Reasonably priced at $10 for toasted sandwich and drink.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Covid credential check carried out.
Have been to this cafe a few times with my family on our way to hallsgap and they did an amazing job handeling each individual customer with care! Especially today, it was absolutely crazy seeing how many people were passing through the shop getting takeaways and enjoying the sitting in the sun outside.excellent service from staff and they all seem to really have a genuine care in looking after their customers. Plus the food, had a tart this morning and it was delicious. Will definitely be back after lockdown on our travels.
A great little cafe, warm, comfortable, good food and coffee. Staff are excellent. Plenty of parking.
Tiny little cafe on the side of the gallery but great food. 4 staff managed so well serving both take away and dining in customers.
Wholesome food and GF options. Delicious coffee served in artistic pottery mugs adds style!
On our way back home to Melbourne, stopped by for breakfast. Best waffles we have ever had coffee was great too.
Excellent service and wonderful food. Had the pumpkin and feta fritatta which was delightfully fluffy, and the coffee was expertly made!
A very well needed stop for food cafe en route to eastern VIC. Seven seeds coffee beans are used here. Coffee is a tad expensive tho.
Had the chicken ciabatta. Twas good
Great food, great service with customer satisfaction a priority.
The menu is full of favourite, yummy and tempting foods but the strawberry waffles with chia tea chaser is a extremely satisfying indulgence.
