Footscray City College

The school is nice and okay. The education in the school is very much studied and very hard worked. It has been Footscray City College for a long time since in the 2000s and the 2010s. Thanks Now it is Footscray High School in the 2020s. My son studied there, nice school Thanks!

The education is very well studied and the teachers are amazing.mental health is something this school has focused on making it enjoyable for every student to learn

Get rid of the uniform.

Robbing these kids of any individuality. Uniform when in primary school. High school. And then at work.

It's like the holocaust was a practice run.

I really want to go to footscray city I am living in Adelaide right now but I want to go live in Melbourne to go to footscray I got a lot of mates at this school so big WOODY is coming soon

I graduated from here a few years ago. The school wasn't bad, most of the teachers did try their best, while a select few just absolutely shouldn't be in the teaching profession.
I will admit, there were some teachers at the school who were absolutely unforgettable and did their job to the best of their ability and knew how to engage their students.

The thing i valued the most about my time at FCC was the individuality of the school, the school had it's own vibe and it's own culture unlike the other run of the mill white bread public schools around us.

But unfortunately this didn't really last long because now FCC is just trying to attract overprotective yuppy parents and now it's becoming another run of the mill public school.
But that's probably because the school has to keep up with the demand of the young yuppy families that are infesting the west (thanks gentrification!) so i can't blame them.

But personally, i do miss the school. It was a unique and nice place during my time there. I'd give it a solid 7/10.

Someone said MGS is trash. FCC is trash id rather send my child to an orphanage than here. I say MGS. Read Ty Perham:)

I’m going to be attending this school but reading these comments, don’t really want to go but I have no choice… is it really that bad? My goddd

1. This is a public school and uniform prices are way to high
2. They gave my friend an in school suspension for BLUE HAIR
3. Got a detention for having grey socks
4. THE PEOPLE THAT COME HERE DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY 87 DOLLARS FOR A JACKET
Anyway point is I have moved schools because of the constant harrasment, detentions, bullying and countless other reasons so my advice to you being a student DO NOT send your kids here they will be bullied unless there popular and ARE the bullys

Great school, but has been getting more and more concerned with their image, and because of such has been introducing new uniform policies which either don't look good, or are unreasonably priced for the general family household income of students who attend there. Some great teachers, but there's some Sergio ones as well

Has some good teachers but school managers are too busy building a mega school to care for students. The crackdown on school uniform is OTT - classrooms are FREEZING, but kids get detention because they're not in full uniform. Maybe they have a heavier jacket or fleecy pants to stay warm? Our kid is reluctant to go to school. Instead of encouragement for getting there, they hand out a detention for wearing the wrong jacket. Had to remove it and froze all day. Thanks. Not.

Worst school in victoria do not send your kids here because they wont learn anything and they will be bullied
