Foodworld Laverton reviews
17Always fresh & reasonable prices. Love the shop, cafe/diner all in one stop, definitely a win for us. Service is welcoming & love the poly decor. Definitely NOT halal but they do sell some halal products in the shop next door. I’m there for the sweets & halal corn beef. Business that supports small & local businesses is always a win for all (pineapple pies, donuts, bangbangs, moon pies etc). Outdoor & indoor area is spacious enough for a good, quick chow down & pit stop! Win win!
It is our go to store for all our island and general needs. THE MAIN REASON WHY WE ATTEND THIS STORE IS CUSTOMER SERVICE is TOPNOTCH always friendly and moving FAST to help us. If it’s busy they ring there bell for more help. VINAKA Even if you ring they are polite. Thank you Guys wishing your business the best in the future.
Fantastic shop that has a huge variety of products, very well priced and the hot food is fantastic.
POKE was rubbish, I hope it wasn't a cook islander that made this. Mostly tapioca flour no banana not worth the money. Staff and other stuff at this store were great!
Always amazes me how busy it gets in here and how they're always fully stocked when so many people leave with alot of goods. Music ain't blasting in the store which makes it easier to hear unlike down the road. Staff are really friendly too.
Have the best hot island food there pork buns are the best in the game has a little spice kick tonite but nice aloft of variety of food to island clothes puletasi men's shirts kids sizes too koko samoa must give this place a 10/10 also they have the best keke isite
Who would think the Fijian/indian community would make island soul food better than the islanders themselves highly recommend this place
Very busy any time of the day. Great service has most things that I need when i go there.
Parking may be hard to find also but your able to park on the sides.
If ur a kiwi, Islanders, this is the place for you. They have everything, even every one I should have recommended.
Drive 2 hours to buy a product they had advised just for them to say it was an error and it was actually $300 more (Quoted $190) All they could say was "Sorry"
Foodworld Laverton is on the corner of Doherty's and Fitzgerald Rd. You can access it from either road. Plenty of parking outside.
Ive been coming here for a few years on a regular basis. The owners are friendly and their kids work here too. There is a great selection of goods available.
Get in early on a Saturday for the best pick. You can buy hot and fresh food, not so much now due to lockdown. Supply of some items are a bit scarce due to level 4 restrictions. I was after taro leaves but they had none today
Anyways, highly recommended, keep in mind that some things may not be available during restrictions
Friendly People. Good variety of island foods and Kiwi goodies but i go there mainly for their lamb buns.the best in aus so far.peppery and just full of flavour.
Friendly, helpful and great services from the staff. Plus, i am happy with all the products and everything i needed was all there. Come here to shop for your isĺand food, why not, its affordable and cheap for your budget.
Our go-to shop for Pacific food and goods. They've also added to their hot food selection.
Sometimes I'd like to have my island food so I visit food world laverton, food like cornedbeef, cabin bread, and some varieties like taro leaves, purple kumara, NZ stuffs.
Great place for Kiwi/Islander products. Hot food is a bit salty but baked food like pineapple half moon pies and coconut buns are delicious.
Love the variety of pacific island goods. From food to clothing, jellewery, DVDS, mats and flags etc. The most popular polynesian warehouse in the western suburbs. I love the Fijian indian family that runs it an highly recommend you visit and support our own. I always buy my materials for Puletasi there for church and youth gatherings.
