29Love the smaller grocery shops they are much more friendly and this one has amazing fruit and veg and great meat at the butchers and deli, found exactly what I needed thanks
I saw some encouraging offers to come and shop in this place, but when I visited the place, the fruits and vegetables were different in shape than what I saw online
Purchased marked down ribs with an expiry on the day of purchase. I asked if it was still good and was assured it was. Opened and smelled revolting. Ended up purchasing ribs take out from Burrito Bar at woodgrove instead (which by the way are the BEST ribs I’ve EVER had - bit pricey, but worth every cent!). Went to foodworks the following day, product in hand, receipt and evidence of the alternate purchase that evening. Extremely rude and practically accused me of “making” it go off. Don’t know how that’s done, but owner refused to credit or refund. Never going back again. The previous owner was amazing, but sadly he’s gone. Going to foodworks in harkness from now on.
It's got anything the big shopping centre has like Coles and Woolworths. The staff at Foodworks are young and have great customer services and are friendly and respectful so it's all good
A pleasant experience. They have adopted Aldi idea. You don't need heaps of the same thing especially when it's the stores own brand.
Staff need an injection of cheer, smiles or whatever it takes to make customers feel welcome. You get the feeling staff in there are forced to work there.
Apart from that they have reasonable prices.
No trolleys, only inside the shop. I need to get my car inside the shop then. Or buy only what you can carry. How stupid, also the new trolleys too small like a kids trolley
I bought some Lychee and when I took it at home and checked it but it was not eatable. I returned to the shop but they didn't return the products. The manager and front lady also didn't behave well with me. I just gave them those lychee for free to the manager. Totally unprofessional staff. Recommend not to buy any food product from there.
This is truly the reject shop of Melton supermarkets. Some of the Fruit and veg are inedible.watched the manager berate his staff in front of customers. Completely unprofessional
Love it food & fruit shop cheep, swith good product.the I love this shop, so many items for every occasions just to many to list great customer service
Good variety of halal cured meat like salami and sausages, fresh cut meat (certified paper near the section) except for chicken. Good fruit, vegetables selection. The store is not huge but you can get ample for your groceries needs.
Love the variety here, prices are reasonable, service is great and you are able to finish ur shopping relatively quickly with loads of parking space outside.
Bought yogurt Janala brand, came home found mould inside then checked expires date found expired 4 days ago. Took to them and wanted to swap with same brand. I thought mistake can happen but when I went to their fridge I found same brand all other product expire 6 days ago. I am astonished and embarrassed. So I advised them politely to refund which they did. I was lucky my child did not eat them. Melton community careful with them. Before buying any product check expire date.
In one shopping bag i got two packets of yogurt, fruit,
Yogurt out of date, and fruit with mould, i know i should have slowed down and checked, does anyone there know what "FIFO" is for. Would help
Better than Woolworths and Coles by far! I left Woolworths disgusted in the rotten produce they display next to the high prices they display and walked out. Went to Foodworks and I'm not saying the produce was all A1 but I walked out with better quality veg at a ridiculously low price and felt satisfied after the girls at the registers looked as if they enjoy their jobs and represent Foodworks at a high standard! LOOK OUT WOOLIES AND COLES AS IM A BIG INFLUENCE IN MY AREA AND YOUR STANDARDS ARE LOW
Well done Foodwaorks Management and Staff! You have a new permanent Customer! Plus more to come
Great deals on market day. Good small range of shops, bakery, lolly shop with rare products from other countries, awesome. Great people, great service.
This place is a hidden gem. I shop here with my children as it's convenient for me to walk to this central location. Their fruit and vegetables are fantastic. Great range very fresh and prices are cheaper than anywhere else in the area. I also get my meat from here, they have a good selection of Halal meats and sujuk and pasturma. Also heaps of Middle Eastern groceries and European stock. Cash register ladies are all very friendly and professional. The only downfall is that occasionally I notice there are out of date products on shelves but this could be due to low staff numbers and not being able to keep up. Otherwise I love this place! Thank you!
Great produces. It was so crowded in the morning and I prefer to visit the store in the evening. The fresh fruits and vegetables are good at the lowest prices compared to other supermarkets.
The variety and prices are good but, not as good as the one in Bacchus Marsh. The fresh seafood, chorizo, seafood salad and other things are pretty good there. Better than the big supermarkets. If only they would bring the same to Melton!
Im very grateful to have discovered this place, the vegetables and fruits are quality and cheaper price comparing to supermarkets. Also as someone who has celiac disease and has to be on gluten free diet I am so happy this store stocks GF cereals, pastas, sauces and noodles which all are.more expensive in other stores.honestly Thank You. I am happy to spend $ and shop here as long as i can
